Sleep is often the missing link in balanced health. We cannot live without sleep. Regular, quality rest keeps our immune system strong and our brain lively. A lack of sleep lowers stress resistance and dulls our ability to think, concentrate, or even process memories.

To meet the day means being alert and energetic. A clear mind is better for learning, productivity, and decision-making. Many of the stimulants we commonly use to feel awake, like caffeine, can have side-effects or cause dependence. The Focus Tincture Collection combines organic CBD with plant terpenes well-known to help with mental clarity and energy. Here, we take a look at how caffeine works in our body and compare that with the research on how CBD and plant terpenes support vital energy and mental clarity. Caffeine, an Adenosine Competitor As we do physical or mental work during the day, our central nervous system releases adenosine. It builds up as the day winds onward, making us feel tired. We burn adenosine while we sleep, allowing us to wake up with energy for the day. Caffeine blocks the adenosine receptors. Caffeine actually works through several mechanisms, but a primary one is interfering with adenosine's ability to bind with receptors in your nervous system . Even if you've been active or using your brain for an extended period and a fair amount of adenosine has built up, the caffeine blocks its effect and reduces the feeling of tiredness. Caffeine is safe for consumption, and most people do not have side-effects. Doctors recommend consuming the equivalent of no more than four cups of coffee a day . Side-effects of caffeine can include sleeplessness, anxiety, nausea, dehydration, or an accelerated heart rate. CBD and Mental Alertness CBD functions differently than coffee. While coffee's full effects come on and fade within a few hours, CBD builds up in your body over time. You may feel its effects shortly after taking it, and CBD becomes more effective with consistent use. You may know CBD as a sedative rather than a stimulant. Because of its interaction with the endocannabinoid system that stretches from head to toe, CBD appears to have a biphasic effect. Specifically, people experience different results depending on the dosage they receive. According to a 2017 review, the effect of lower doses of CBD may be stimulating, and higher doses sedative . A single dose of CBD increases blood flow to the part of the brain associated with memory function , according to recent research at University College London. Scientists found 600 mg of CBD increased blood flow to brain regions involved in processing memory, particularly the hippocampus. Early studies in CBD discovered that CBD can promote wakefulness , though the precise dosage and methods require additional research. Anxiety and stress are exhausting. Another way CBD may reduce fatigue is by alleviating stress and anxiety . Studies using hair analysis in regular cannabis users found more significant CBD concentrations to be associated with better cognitive performance – especially memory – fewer psychotic symptoms and increased gray matter in the hippocampus. Our Focus Formula's Synergy-Enhanced Terpenes Terpenes have their own host of benefits for cognitive function. Each of the plant terpenes in our Focus SETI formulas, with or without CBD , was selected to enhance vitality and brain function. Alpha & Beta-Pinene Pinene offers several benefits to the brain and nervous system. It is often said to provide a concentration boost coincided with a feeling of alertness. Research shows it can enhance memory retention by inhibiting the breakdown of neurotransmitters in the brain . Alpha and beta-Pinene show potential to help treat and prevent neurodegenerative conditions like Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases . Further brain benefits of pinene are under study. Limonene Limonene supports your vitality in several ways. It relieves anxiety and depression and fights stress allowing you to function better. It has an impressive ability to help your liver's detoxification enzymes cleanse the body of harmful chemicals and fats . A healthy liver supplies glucose to your blood to keep your energy and blood sugar levels even. Today's lifestyle can be hard work for our livers, and it appreciates all the help it can get. Limonene has other brain benefits – it reduces brain inflammation and protects it from toxicity . Beta-Caryophyllene b-Caryophyllene improves and even restores memory in preclinical trials. It is abundant in hemp and cannabis plants as well as ginger, oregano, and thyme. It is a CB2 antagonist that fights inflammation , helps reduce anxiety and depression , and accelerates cell healing . b-Caryophyllene shows promise as a neuroprotective agent with possible applications for Alzheimer's patients . alpha-Phellandrene a-Phellandrene boosts immune function and helps keep us healthy. Plants containing this terpene, like ginger, were commonly used in Chinese medicine to increase energy. Preclinical studies show a-Phellandrene may reduce pain and relieve depression . Cadinene Cadinene's woody scent is widely used in fragrances. Preliminary studies show cadinene fights inflammation . It's also may help reduce anxiety and high blood pressure . Delta 3 Carene Delta 3 Carene is an anti-inflammatory with applications for fibromyalgia, arthritis, and other painful chronic conditions . It's shown to kill candida species , which can drain our vitality if overgrown. Delta 3 Carene is also under study for its potential benefits to bone density. Researchers have seen evidence it can have a beneficial effect on bone health . Phytol Phytol's invigorating effect is said to increase mental alertness . It is under investigation as a possible alternative treatment for Alzheimer's patients for its ability to disrupt the amyloid proteins that accumulate with that disease. Phytol also acts as an antioxidant and reduces inflammation . Get Sustained Energy with Terpene-Enhanced SETI Formulas Sustained energy is not a product of poor sleep patterns, artificial stimulants, and poor self-care. The better our health and our cells' vitality, the easier it is for our organs and systems to feed us the energy we need to get through the day. Some people enjoy combining coffee and CBD. Each impacts mental clarity differently. Caffeine is a nervous system stimulant that stops us from feeling tired. On the other hand, plant terpenes are natural molecules designed to help balance and regulate your body's systems to stimulate mental clarity and support vitality on a cellular level.

People are looking for new and nonaddictive ways to treat pain. Topical CBD cream works on a targeted area because the cannabidiol compounds are absorbed through the skin. Instead of entering the bloodstream like CBD does when you take it orally, topical CBD connects with nearby cannabinoid receptors through the skin pores. Our Relieve Topical formula combines CBD, plant terpenes, essential oils, and whole-food emulsifiers to create a smooth and natural pain-relieving formula. In this close-up, we examine the science behind our ingredients. The Pain-Relieving Properties of CBD CBD provides pain relief through several biological processes in the body. Rather than simply blocking the pain signal like some medications, CBD interacts with the endocannabinoid system (ECS) to help the body restore balance and improve function. The ECS regulates and modulates the immune response, communication between cells, metabolism, memory, mood, and pain perception. Preclinical trials show CBD to reduce different types of pain. In one study, CBD reduced pain from a surgical incision . In another, it reduced neuropathic pain and inflammation associated with sciatica . CBD has neuroprotective properties, which means it can help protect and regenerate your nervous system. Preclinical studies show CBD may decrease inflammation and prevent neurodegeneration. CBD i s the first active ingredient in our Relieve Topical formula. It is assisted by an entourage of plant terpenes. Assisted by Plant Terpenes Like the CBD molecule, plant terpenes are specialized molecules able to interact with our ECS and other biological systems. The six terpenes in our Relieve Topical are alpha and beta-pinene, beta-caryophyllene, terpinolene, limonene, and myrcene. Alpha and beta-pinene exhibit anti-inflammatory activity and reduce pain in preclinical studies. Initial studies on beta-caryophyllene show it fights inflammation and accelerates cell healing . Limonene acts as a natural insecticide , antiviral , and kills bacteria . It also enhances mood and well-being, has a sedative effe ct and stress-fighting properties . Myrcene is a well-loved terpene in the world of cannabis research. It works as an analgesic to reduce bodily discomfort and pain and as a sedative . Myrcene also helps your muscles relax . Terpinolene shows promise as an anti-inflammatory and to provide pain relief . It also reduces anxiety and is under research as a way to treat insomnia and panic attacks . All plants create terpenes to attract pollinators, repel pests, repair cells, and other essential functions, but hemp has one of the highest concentrations of any plant. When you breathe in the natural scent of lavender or citrus, for example, you are inhaling beneficial terpene molecules. Pinene smells like pine needs, and limonene has a citrusy aroma. Terpinolene's scent is more intricate than most, including piney, floral, and herbaceous notes. Supported by 10 Essential Oils For complete plant medicine , our Relieve Topical includes ten essential oils: geranium, chamomile, lavender, peppermint, comfrey, eucalyptus, rosemary, tea tree, ylang-ylang, and frankincense. Geranium applied topically on the skin, geranium oil kills bacteria and reduces inflammation . One study found it to relieve nerve pain . German Chamomile reduces swelling and promotes relaxation . In a preclinical study, German chamomile relieved both the symptoms and underlying allergic markers for eczema . Lavender is one of the most popular aromatherapy scents, lavender, is celebrated for its ability to soothe and relax. A clinical study found that lavender reduced pain and eased muscle tension when combined with other pain treatments . Peppermint contains menthol to cool sore, achy muscles. It also reduces the perception of pain and fights inflammation. Comfrey gets conventional researchers' attention, several randomized clinical trials support the usefulness of topically-applied comfrey to treat pain, inflammation of muscles and joints, and sprains . Eucalyptus has a soothing, cooling effect on muscles and eases pain and inflammation . Rosemary is not only great on chicken and potatoes! The essential oil is noted for its pain-relieving and anti-inflammation properties . Tea Tree oil reduces inflammation, kills bacteria, and soothes redness and swelling . Ylang-Ylang studies demonstrate ylang-ylang's capacity to kill bacteria and fungus and help wounds heal. It also may have soothing, sedative properties. Some people use it on their scalps to promote hair growth. Frankincense alleviates pain and swelling and invigorates blood flow in the area . Delivered with Healing Emulsifiers Our Relieve Topical is completed with whole-food emulsifiers, including vitamin E, coconut oil, and rose damascene water. Vitamin E nourishes your skin and protects it from free radicals . Rose Damascena water boasts antibacterial, antimicrobial, and anti-inflammatory properties. When applied to your skin, coconut oil fights inflammation, keeps skin moisturized, and promotes wound healing . Concentrated Plant Medicine In Tibet, the word 'jampha' means 'loving kindness.' At Jampha, we strive to create products that bring relief, healing, and vitality to people's lives. Our Relieve Topical builds on the molecular power of CBD with a supporting entourage of Synergy Enhanced Terpene Infusions and Essential oils. At first glance, CBD, vitamin C, and cancer may appear to be an odd trio. However, CBD and vitamin C are plant molecules with similar and complementary health benefits. When paired with traditional treatments, research shows both can support healing for cancer patients. In this article, you'll discover a few remarkable things about vitamin C and some of the research on CBD and vitamin C for cancer treatment. Vitamin C is Essential to Wound Healing You may be surprised to discover how crucial Vitamin C is to your health. It supports your immune system, cardiovascular function, is essential to make collagen, and enables wound healing. A shortage of vitamin C in your system causes scurvy, which still affects seven percent of Americans. Symptoms include weakness, anemia, gum disease, and skin problems . Humans Cannot Produce Vitamin C Remarkably, while most animals can produce vitamin C without ingesting it, humans lost the capacity to make our own vitamin C about 40 million years ago . We have to absorb this required nutrient from food and supplements. Fortunately, vitamin C is readily available in citrus fruits, tomatoes, strawberries, and a few other fruits and vegetables. Vitamin C and Cancer Treatment In the 1960s, a Toronto medical doctor named William J. McCormick noticed that cancer patients often showed severely low vitamin C levels . This discovery was followed in the 1970s with several clinical trials in the U.S. and Japan that treated terminal cancer patients with ascorbate (vitamin C). Initial findings were remarkable, with 22 percent of vitamin C-treated terminal cancer patients surviving for more than one year compared to only 0.4 percent of the control patients . Later, the Mayo Clinic did a clinical trial but found no advantage to vitamin C treatment. Since the Mayo study was double-blind while other studies used past case records for the control group, these findings cooled the medical community on vitamin C for cancer treatment and delayed further research into its benefits. Important Differences in Approach Unlock Answers According to cancer.gov , research into vitamin C has resumed because there were two crucial differences between the studies. The early studies administered vitamin C over the entire study duration, which was up to 12 years. In contrast, the Mayo Clinic stopped the vitamin C treatment the minute the patient showed tumor progression and switched to chemotherapy treatment. The median amount of time a patient received vitamin C in the Mayo Clinic study was only 2.5 months. Secondly, the Mayo Clinic trials gave patients 10 g of ascorbate to patients orally. The earlier Cameron and Pauling trials administered their vitamin C both orally and intravenously. These two dosage routes produced a significant difference. Plasma Concentration Levels are the Key Later preclinical studies confirmed that high and sustained plasma levels of vitamin C can kill cancer cells while leaving normal cells undamaged. In the 2000s, researchers at the NIH discovered the oral ascorbate doses used in the Mayo Clinic studies would have produced peak plasma concentrations 25 times less than in the earlier studies. The oral administration alone did not allow patients to build up enough vitamin C in their blood to experience beneficial effects . This insight rekindled interest and, over the past decade, there have been several clinical trials and case reports testing a high dose of vitamin C as an ancillary cancer treatment. Studies consistently show benefits to cancer patients, including reduced pain. Normal tissues are better protected against the toxicity caused by chemotherapy. However, researchers say large-scale, randomized controlled trials are still needed. Jampha is investigating a possible new product for our line called Nano Soma . It is a patented plant-based spray produced in Switzerland that increases vitamin C plasma levels beyond what you can achieve with oral supplements alone . CBD Supports Immune Function and Kills Cancer Cells Vitamin C and CBD function differently in the body, but both are potent antioxidants with cancer-fighting properties. Vitamin C is a water-soluble, required nutrient, easily absorbed by the body's tissues. As an extract, CBD is oil-based. CBD functions by interacting with the human endocannabinoid system to help balance and modulate the body's systems. In preclinical trials, CBD kills or inhibits a variety of cancer and tumor cells . Researchers are still investigating the mechanisms and best dosages. As natural and non-toxic plant molecules, both vitamin C and CBD can be used at recommended doses with little to no side-effects. Even better, Vitamin C and CBD can help reduce the side-effects of cancer treatment . Not a Cure, But Potent Benefits Neither vitamin C nor CBD is a cure for cancer, and CBD should be added to existing treatment only under your doctor's supervision. However, these simple, natural plant molecules play pivotal roles in supporting, maintaining, and regaining health on a cellular level. Jampha products integrate advanced plant knowledge as taught by the Medicine Buddha and the Sowa Rigpa Tibetan Spiritual System for Healing mind, body and spirit. Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) is a kind of depression that shows up at the same time each year. Most people affected experience symptoms during fall or winter when the days are short and dark. SAD affects 10 million Americans , and depression affects about 16 million. Everyone has times of lower energy or feeling down. Depression may require treatment if you feel low for days at a time and don’t feel like doing activities you usually enjoy. Depression is even more likely if your sleep patterns and appetite have changed or if you find yourself turning to alcohol, weed, or comfort food to feel better. Symptoms of SAD or depression can include: Fatigue, or lower energy levels Loss of interest and pleasure in activities formerly enjoyed Difficulty sleeping or irregular sleep patterns Irritability and anxiety Feelings of guilt, worthlessness, or hopelessness Retreating or hiding from people Foggy thinking or trouble concentrating Traditional Treatments for SAD and Depression Symptoms of SAD usually disappear when the season changes. Professional treatments for depression are similar, whether related to SAD, PTSD, an illness, or a significant life event. Most often recommended for seasonal depression, light therapy is a natural way to regulate brain chemicals. It mimics natural sunlight and helps the body release serotonin. For more information on light therapy, check out this beautifully written article . Exercise and diet changes bring relief to many people and help them effectively manage their symptoms. Exercise releases dopamine and endorphins. A healthy diet can improve digestion and reduce inflammation. Counseling is helpful to gain perspective and coping mechanisms. Antidepressant medication should be a last resort, but currently, one in ten Americans take antidepressants . CBD for Symptoms SAD and of Depression CBD is a natural molecule designed to interact with the human endocannabinoid system to balance and regulate the brain, nervous system, and hormonal system. Unlike traditional antidepressants, CBD presents few to no side-effects. A 2014 review article brought together studies showing CBD reduces depression and anxiety . Multiple studies show CBD to relieve anxiety, reduce psychosis, and protect brain cells and neurons . Although depression is not an anxiety disorder, several symptoms of depression are similar, including irritability, nervousness, sleep problems, and difficulty concentrating. A 2018 study published in Molecular Neurobiology journal found CBD to induce rapid and sustained antidepressant effects . CBD also acts as a potent and system-wide anti-inflammatory . Recent research into the 30 percent of patients whose depression resists traditional antidepressant medications discovered a link between depression and inflammation . Terpenes to Relieve Depression In addition to CBD, hemp and cannabis plants have an extraordinary plant terpenes concentration – up to 200 in a single plant. At Jampha, each of our organic, full-spectrum CBD tinctures are enhanced with a carefully selected entourage of terpenes. Plant terpenes have been part of traditional medicine for centuries in their whole plant form. For example, ginger, turmeric, camphor oil, garlic, ginseng, and valerian root all contain the same potent terpenes found in the hemp plant and used in our Jampha SETI (synergy-enhanced terpene infusions) tinctures. Six Plant Terpenes Research Shows Help Fight Depression Beta-Caryophyllene B-caryophyllene reduced the symptoms of anxiety and depression in several pre-clinical studies. Studies also show b-caryophyllene fights inflammation . Camphor Camphor relieves pain, reduces depression, and even fights infections . Camphor also reduces inflammation . Eucalyptol Pre-clinical research indicates Eucalyptol reduces anxiety and inflammation . Geraniol Geraniol reduced depression-behaviors in mice after three weeks of treatment with the plant terpene. It also reduces inflammation . Limonene Limonene works as an antidepressant in recent pre-clinical studies. It’s also gotten recognition for powerful anti-anxiety effects . Linalool Linalool is a terpene found in lavender as well as hemp and cannabis. It’s responsible for lavender’s lovely scent. Studies show linalool reduces anxiety and depression by soothing the nervous system. It has potential as a treatment for anxiety disorders . Crohn’s disease and fibromyalgia are both chronic conditions that plague millions of Americans. Crohn’s disease affects three million people, while fibromyalgia affects four million. Although they are different problems, CBD is proving effective to reduce symptoms for both conditions in some patients. Crohn’s, an inflammatory disease, is diagnosed when a patient’s intestinal tract has an area that is inflamed and ulcerated. Crohn’s can include an autoimmune reaction in which the immune system attacks healthy cells. Fibromyalgia is neither an inflammatory disease nor an autoimmune disorder. It is a nerve condition. Patients feel inflamed but can test normal for inflammation. Fibromyalgia is a hypersensitivity in the nervous system that causes chronic and widespread pain. IBD or IBS Crohn’s disease is an inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) without a known cure, though it can go into long-term or even permanent remission. Crohn’s is often treated with anti-inflammatories, steroids, and immunosuppressants. Statistically, the presence of IBD increases the risk of colon cancer. Fibromyalgia is commonly associated with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). Specifically, fibromyalgia occurs in up to 60 percent of people with IBS, and up to 70 percent of IBS sufferers have fibromyalgia . IBS is a gastrointestinal disorder, not a disease. Patients experience chronic bloating, gas, constipation, mucus, or pain. IBS does not increase the chance of colon cancer and is not an inflammatory disease, but does correlate with low-grade and systemic inflammation . Research to Support Personal Experience Both Crohn’s and fibromyalgia are incredibly uncomfortable and can interfere with sufferers’ lives. Getting an accurate diagnosis can be a challenge. Medical treatments and medications are limited, and some patients struggle with side-effects. At Jampha, we’ve had several different clients with either fibromyalgia or Crohn’s disease report improvements in their quality of life after three to six months of specific CBD tinctures and topicals. Here is what science tells us about how this might work. The Body’s Universal Regulator Known to researchers since 1999, the human endocannabinoid system (ECS) modulates and helps maintain balance in the brain, hormonal system, immune, and digestive systems. It has receptor sites and neurotransmitters throughout the body that are powerfully influenced by CBD and plant terpene molecules. Fibromyalgia and the ECS Scientists are investigating what they call an “ECS deficiency” as a likely source for fibromyalgia, migraines, and insomnia . An under-functioning or overactive ECS will fail to modulate and balance the body’s systems. CBD is effective to help balance the endocannabinoid system. It interacts with receptors throughout the body to activate and regulate the ECS. Additionally, research shows CBD to be effective against common fibromyalgia symptoms, including for relief of chronic pain , insomnia, and migraines . Crohn’s and the ECS Crohn’s disease is not an indication of an ECS deficiency, but Crohn’s does seem to interact with the ECS. The ECS regulates gut homeostasis, motility, and inflammation -- all very important to managing Crohn’s and other IBDs. Research so far indicates the endocannabinoid system is promising in the treatment of IBD . CBD Relieves Pain and Reduces Inflammation CBD provides effective pain relief for many patients. It also can provide neuropathic pain relief , a difficult-to-manage symptom of nervous system damage or dysfunction. Research finds CBD to be effective against chronic pain and inflammation . In clinical trials, patients do not seem to build up a tolerance for CBD . Where effective, it continues to work with few to no side-effects . Repeated studies demonstrate CBD’s anti-inflammatory properties through multiple systems of the body. It supports your immune system’s ability to manage unhealthy levels of inflammation. It also can assist with cell apoptosis, or killing off cells that are malfunctioning but haven’t been removed by the body’s immune system. By interacting with receptors in the endocannabinoid system, CBD helps modulate and balance immune activity. Researchers in 2008 were fascinated to discover it could stimulate T-cells to boost immune activity or do the opposite and act as an immunosuppressive to ameliorate the body’s attack on healthy cells. CBD can stimulate immune function or help your body calm down an overactive immune response. CBD Calms the Nervous System The endocannabinoid system has receptors that stretch from head to toe, including through the central and peripheral nervous systems. CBD’s calming effect on the central nervous system is apparent in its well-studied anxiety and depression-relieving properties. CBD can also improve sleep . In addition to relieving pain, supporting healthy digestion, and regulating sleep, Organic Full Spectrum CBD and Synergy Enhanced Terpene Infusions help to balance mood disorders by modulating serotonin and other hormone levels. Nature on Your Side CBD’s unique relationship with the human endocannabinoid system and body-wide anti-inflammatory effects make it an excellent candidate to reduce symptoms of both fibromyalgia and Crohn’s disease. Please speak with your doctor before combining CBD with existing medications, especially if your medication comes with a grapefruit warning. CBD can influence how your body absorbs drugs. At Jampha, we carefully combine our organic, full-spectrum CBD oil with an array of plant terpenes. You can see research on the health benefits of these remarkable molecules in our Glossary of Terpenes . For the symptoms discussed in this blog, our Balance , Relieve , and Calm Synergy-Enhanced Terpene Infusions (SETI) include plant terpenes selected to enhance the pain-relieving, mood-balancing, and anti-inflammatory properties of CBD. They are also available without CBD . To apply CBD directly to affected areas for pain relief and to reduce inflammation, we recommend our terpene-enhanced Relieve and Icy Blue topicals . We create a unique and powerful Tibetan Botanical Support called WHITE TIGER for individuals struggling with Crohn’s disease or fibromyalgia may be approaching healing from every possible angle: diet, lifestyle changes, medication, and education. Dementia has been the subject of intense scientific study since the 1990s. A broad term that includes Alzheimer's disease; dementia occurs when damaged brain cells stop communicating with each other. Other health problems can contribute, including infections, vascular diseases, stroke, depression, or long-term drug dependence . While younger people can develop dementia or Alzheimer's, it is more common with age. However, it is NOT a normal part of aging. Depending on the cause, symptoms of dementia can be slowed or reversed. We'll look at the nuts and bolts of brain health and how CBD and plant terpenes can support healthy brain function. Physical Health Promotes Brain Health Scientists are not certain what causes dementia. However, they have made progress in preventing and slowing the disease. The steps you would take to support your overall well-being also stave off dementia. Experts at Stanford Health Care recommend the following as preventative measures: Avoid smoking Maintain a healthy weight Get regular exercise Eat whole and healthy foods Address health problems when they arise Keep your brain active with hobbies, reading, and puzzles Stay involved socially with your church, clubs, friends, and family New Experiences Build a Healthy Brain One of the most remarkable findings of dementia and memory research is about adult brain plasticity and neurogenesis. Science used to consider the adult brain as fixed. You could make new neural connections (memories), but the brain's growth and development was deemed to be static after the teenage years. A study published in 2000 broke open these outdated ideas. In London, cabbies often study for two to four years to master the complicated routes and traffic patterns they need to know to pass the licensing test. Scientists demonstrated that the cabbies' brains did grow and develop in two ways: Brain Plasticity (when neurons rearrange themselves and forge new connections) Neurogenesis (when the brain grows, adding neurons and mass) Confirmed by multiple subsequent studies, researchers now know that while adult brains do not grow as readily and easily as children's do, we stimulate our minds every time we experience or learn something new. The brain is like a muscle, work it, and it gets stronger. CBD for Dementia and Alzheimer's In 2001 the United States government filed a patent for cannabinoids, including CBD, for their antioxidant and neuroprotective benefits . The patent explicitly mentions Alzheimer's and dementia as potential applications for non-psychoactive CBD and other cannabinoids. Research into CBD to combat dementia is just beginning. Even so, there are some interesting findings. CBD Soothes and Calms Alzheimer's Patients Ninety percent of patients with dementia go through a period of behavioral and psychological symptoms like severe anxiety and frustration. Common among Alzheimer's patients, this agitation can be dangerous both to patients and caregivers. Traditional mood-stabilizing agents help sometimes, but the side effects can be significant in elderly and compromised patients. Several studies and clinical experiences show CBD oil to soothe and calm agitated dementia patients. Easing the uncontrolled agitation protects them, their family, and caregivers. Although CBD's exact mechanism of effectiveness is not fully understood yet, research surmises the confused and violent behavior stems from brain inflammation. Since CBD is a powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory, the hypothesis is that it helps ease the brain swelling to reduce symptoms of agitation. CBD Can Reverse Brain Aging CBD interacts with the human endocannabinoid system's receptors in the brain. It works as a brain stimulant and neuroprotective. Studies show CBD can increase synaptic activity and facilitates neurogenesis (the production of new neurons). CBD is also neuroprotective, meaning it protects the brain's structure and function and slows the loss of neurons. In several studies with animals, CBD prevented brain damage . In a study with rats it stimulated the production of new neural stem cells and helped integrate these new neurons into the adult brain. CBD May Destroy Harmful Amyloid Proteins When scientists look at an Alzheimer's patient's brain after they passed on, one key indicator of the disease is clumps of a protein called amyloid. A study that gave both THC and CBD oil to mice with Alzheimer's disease symptoms showed improved learning and less evidence of amyloid clumps in their bodies. With potent anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, neuroprotective, and regenerative properties, CBD offers aid to current dementia patients and helps keep our brains healthy. Terpenes that Benefit the Brain At Jampha, we infuse each of our organic full-spectrum CBD products with a targeted entourage of dynamic plant terpenes. In addition to CBD, these terpenes bring their brain benefits. Preliminary studies show neuroprotective and other brain-benefitting properties of some of the terpenes we use . Beta-Caryophyllene In addition to its anti-inflammatory, cell healing, and tumor-fighting properties, b-caryophyllene shows promise as a neuroprotective agent with possible applications for Alzheimer's patients . Citral Studies on citral indicate it can help manage immune-inflammatory conditions . Since inflammation is increasingly seen as a central mechanism in Alzheimer's, reducing immune inflammation prevents and can potentially treat dementia. Citronellol and Geraniol Citronellol and geraniol demonstrate neuroprotective properties . Researchers say they provide a natural template to treat neurological diseases. Eucalyptol Eucalyptol is a systemic anti-inflammatory that reduces oxidative stress and fights neurodegenerative diseases . Eugenol Eugenol is a plant molecule that can pass right through the blood-brain barrier. Combined with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, eugenol can be used as a carrier to deliver drugs to the brain . Limonene Limonene reduces brain inflammation and protects the brain against toxicity . Linalool In a study on mice with Alzheimer's, linalool reversed both neuropathological and behavioral impairments . Myrcene Myrcene acts as a neuroprotective . It reduces oxidative damage and slows cell death in the brain. Nerolidol With robust anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, nerolidol reduced the inflammation in rats' brains and protected them from oxidative stress . Phytol Phytol is under study as a possible alternative treatment for Alzheimer's patients . It disrupts the amyloid proteins that accumulate in the bodies of people with Alzheimer's. Pulegone The terpene pulegone improves cognitive function and memory and helps your brain make new neural connections. Terpinolene In studies done on rats, terpinolene fights brain cancer and reduces oxidative stress . Plant Molecules Protect Your Brain The best defense against illness and disease, including dementia, is a healthy lifestyle. However, most of us face obligations and conditions that don't always allow a diet of fresh foods and regular exercise. We do the best we can. Fortunately, we have the harnessed power of plant molecules on our side. Traditional medicine has relied on CBD and terpenes for centuries through agents like hemp, ginger, chamomile, and garlic. Modern science helps us understand how these molecules work and shows us new ways to use them. While we don't yet have a cure for Alzheimer's and dementia, scientists are learning that the brain is more resilient and capable of healing than previously believed. Plant molecules, like CBD, are already helping some patients. As research continues, they may prove to end dementia and help us maintain mental sharpness at any age. Jampha has embarked on the creation of Tibetan Synergy Enhanced Terpene Infusion's to support deep and powerful healing.

Even if new to us, the remarkable benefits of the hemp plant have been appreciated by people from very early in our history. Hemp was among one of humanity's first cultivated crops. A 2019 study published in the Ve g etation History and Archaeobotany traced the origin of cannabis to a variation of the hop plant 28 million years ago. Archeologists found fossilized cannabis plant pollen 10,700 feet above sea level on the Tibetan Plateau. To put that in perspective, scientists think that our human ancestors emerged 6 million years ago and modern humans only in the past 200,000 years. At Jampha, we appreciate this discovery because Tibet and its profound spiritual contribution inspired our organic, full-spectrum, and non-psychoactive CBD infusions . In the Tibetan language, Jampha means "loving kindness." Loving kindness is the antidote to selfishness, anger, and fear. Domesticated from Wild Origins The ancient cannabis plant had millions of years to spread its pollen before humans arrived on the scene. Researchers in the 2019 study were able to trace the pathway of the cannabis spores' from the Tibetan Plateau to Europe, then China, and finally into India. Most likely, different people across Eurasia cultivated and domesticated cannabis at different times in history from these migrated spores. Domesticated plants also spread through trade. Before the discovery of fossilized spores in Tibet, the first evidence of cultivated cannabis was in China. Along with some Neolithic pottery, researchers found 12,000-year-old stone tools with hemp cord markings and a rod used to pound the plant into fibers. Archaeologists found a remnant of hemp cloth dating back to 8,000 BCE in ancient Mesopotamia, which is modern Iran and Iraq. Ancient people continued to use hemp fibers to make tools, clothing, shoes, and food . By around 150 BCE, they had added hemp into their already-existing papermaking process. First Recorded Medical Uses of Cannabis The first written evidence of the hemp plant as medicine was Emperor Shen-Nung's writings in the Pen Ts’ao Ching dated 2737 BCE. He made oils and teas from the cannabis plant to treat patients' pain. In the next century, a Chinese physician named Hua Tuo recorded using cannabis as an anesthetic. Considering its antibacterial , antimicrobial , and antibiotic properties, he made an excellent choice. His writings show he also successfully used hemp tinctures to treat hair loss, tapeworms, and blood clots. Hemp's History in Ceremony and Ritual With records dating as far back as 2000 BCE, cultures worldwise used cannabis ritually or as part of sacred ceremonies. Hindu According to the ancient sacred text The Vedas, cannabis is one of five sacred plants, and a guardian angel lives in its leaves . You may have seen an image of Lord Shiva dancing in a ring of fire. He is one of the three major Hindu deities. Lord Shiva smoked marijuana to relax and before meditating, and some of his followers do as well. The Maha Shivaratri is an annual festival held in late February or early March to celebrate the day Shiva and his bride Parvati saved the universe from darkness. People gather at the temples to celebrate, many with their special clay pipes called chillum. In the air outside, the scent of ganja mingles with smoke from the bonfires. Scythian The Scythians were an eastern Iranian nomadic warrior tribe who migrated through southern Russia and Ukraine to Siberia. They left two ancient gold bongs with cannabis residue in the Caucasus Mountains of southern Russia around 430 BCE. The Scythians used cannabis in important burial rituals. When burying a leader, they made a fire inside the ceremonial structure. Once the flames died down, they threw hemp seeds on the hot coals . The intoxicating experience was meant to cleanse the mind and soul. In a royal tomb dated between 700 and 300 BCE, they found cannabis seeds in a decorated leather pouch. Egyptian While the ceremonial uses of cannabis in Ancient Egyptians are not well known, they used cannabis for its medical and psychological benefits. The Ebers Papyrus, an Egyptian medical textbook written around 1550 BCE, describes using hemp formulas to reduce pain and inflammation . According to the text, Egyptian women, in particular, used marijuana to alleviate depression and anxiety. Several Egyptian mummies tested for traces of cannabis in their systems. Archeologists believe cannabis was a regular part of ancient Egyptian culture. China The first recorded use of cannabis for its psychoactive properties came from a 2500-year-old burial site in the mountains of western China . Excavators found ten wooden bowls with cannabis residue. Researchers believe mourners used heated stones to burn marijuana as part of the ritual. Intrinsic to Our History As soon as people were cultivating crops, they were growing hemp. They used its strong fibers to make rope, weave baskets, and nets. They transformed it into clothes, shoes, flags, paper, and food. Eventually, its medicinal properties were discovered and recorded. From China to Europe to Egypt, medical practitioners developed tinctures and oils from the hemp plant to ease pain and stabilize mood. At about the same time, marijuana's psychoactive properties were discovered, and people around the world used it in rituals. CBD and the remarkable health benefits of the terpenes and cannabinoids found in the hemp plant may be a discovery in this century, but we are building on what the ancients already knew.

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a complex neurodevelopmental disorder with a range of symptoms and severity. Our first article introduced initial clinical and observational research on CBD as a treatment for the symptoms of Autism . Here we’ll examine research on CBD and plant terpenes for conditions that are common in autism patients. Conditions that Can Occur with Autism There are a number of medical conditions that ASD patients are more likely to experience. Legal only since 2018, systematic investigation into CBD has just started. We’ll look at research so far on CBD and terpenes for five common comorbidities. Common conditions Autism patients may also experience include: Epilepsy and seizures Sleep challenges or disorders Anxiety Gastrointestinal disorders Depression Jampha uses 24 different plant terpenes in its Synergy-Enhanced Terpene Infusions (SETI). Here we highlight a couple of terpenes indicated for each condition. Epilepsy and Seizures Derived from CBD, Epidiolex is an FDA approved drug that is effective against difficult-to-control seizures in two types of epilepsy that affect children. For patients with Dravet syndrome and Lennox-Gastaut syndrome, this CBD-based pharmaceutical reduces the frequency of their seizures . Subsequent studies using CBD oil found that pure CBD extract from hemp reduced seizures more effectively than CBD with various THC levels. This study has been repeated many times with different ages and types of epilepsy. Results consistently show CBD’s effectiveness in reducing the frequency of epileptic seizures in a percentage of patients. The plant terpene linalool has been effective against seizures in several animal studies. Ocimene, derived from basil and sage, as well as hemp, works as an anticonvulsant . Terpineol has been the subject of several recent studies showing it significantly inhibits seizures . Sleep Disorders and Anxiety Sleeplessness and anxiety can come from various sources, from PTSD to medications, physical conditions, pain, or even excessive caffeine. Clinical evidence that CBD reduces anxiety is accumulating. A 2019 study involved 72 subjects with poor sleep, anxiety, or both. Participants took 25 milligram CBD capsules daily. After one month, almost 80 percent of the patients reported reduced anxiety levels, and 67 percent experienced improved sleep . A study published in 2020 using 397 participants administered medical CBD prescriptions for various complaints, including pain, mental health concerns, and neurological symptoms. After three weeks, 70 percent reported improvements. Of the patients receiving treatment for anxiety or depression, all said they could function better and felt less anxious or depressed. Preclinical studies show promise for CBD as a treatment for PTSD . In one clinical study, a child with PTSD experienced less anxiety and better sleep using topical CBD. Pain is a common source of sleep problems, and CBD provides effective pain relief. Several studies show it helps patients manage chronic pain . In patients with Parkinson’s disease with a REM sleep disorder where they act out their dreams , CBD reduced their symptoms. Found in camphor, mint plants, and hemp, the plant terpene pulegone helped subjects fall asleep more easily . Citral, myrcene, and linalool all show sleep-inducing and sustaining properties . Gastrointestinal Disorders The gastrointestinal system includes organs involved in digestion like the esophagus, stomach, intestines, liver, gallbladder, and pancreas. CBD and plant terpenes are specialized molecules that activate and balance the human endocannabinoid system (ECS). All of the organs of digestion interact with the endocannabinoid system. Common gastrointestinal disorders are irritable bowel syndrome, constipation, diarrhea, or acid reflux. Studies show that CBD reduces intestinal inflammation and pain . It also helps reduce nausea . CBD seems to help modulate the digestion system , increasing digestive motility in some participants and reducing it in others. The plant terpene myrcene, found in mangos, basil, and hemp, protects the cells of the digestive lining . In a study on citral effect on obesity, the amount of each subject’s weight loss corresponded to their dose of citral . Participants who took citral had lower fasting glucose levels, better glucose tolerance, and a higher metabolic rate. Depression About ten percent of the general population suffers from depression, while 40 percent of people with autism experience depression at some point during their lives. Preclinical studies with CBD show it works to relieve both anxiety and depression . CBD has a positive interaction with the serotonin levels in the body without binding to the receptors. A 2018 research review illustrates CBD’s anti-stress, antipsychotic, and neuroprotective properties . It covers several studies showing CBD’s positive impact on some patients with depression. Several plant terpenes help relieve the symptoms of depression, including b-caryophyllene , geraniol , pinene, and linalool . In preclinical trials, b-caryophyllene reduced depression and compulsive behavior in mice. Geraniol reduced neuroinflammation and depression-related behaviors. Pinene and linalool both produce an anti-depressant effect. CBD and the Endocannabinoid System: Full-Body Support Autism is a complex disorder that seems to interact with the endocannabinoid system . CBD’s balancing influence on the ECS may be essential to reducing many of the symptoms and comorbidities of ASD. As research continues into autism, the human endocannabinoid system, CBD, and plant terpenes, we will better understand the mechanisms of how these molecules and systems interact. Jampha’s full-spectrum Organic CBD oil is derived from organic hemp grown in the USA. The terpenes in this article are in our Calm , Relieve , Sleep , Breathe , and Detox SETI Collections, available with or without CBD . Jampha products integrate advanced plant knowledge as taught by the Medicine Buddha and the Sowa Rigpa Tibetan Spiritual System for Healing mind, body and spirit.

Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a complicated neurodevelopmental condition that usually shows up in early childhood. Patients experience a delay in language, social, or cognitive skills, but the severity and range of symptoms vary. Some people with ASD function independently, while others need support. Autism cases occur across all racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic groups. The CDC reports that one out of 54 children has been diagnosed with autism . However, the cause of autism is not fully understood, and few medications are available for treatment. Each person with autism is unique, and the most effective treatment and support plan will vary. Educational programs, psychological support, and special diets work for many. Recently, CBD oil has gained recognition as an alternative method of treatment. We'll take a look at the emerging research and clinical evidence investigating CBD as a treatment to relieve the symptoms of Autism. Autism and the Endocannabinoid System CBD interacts with the endocannabinoid system (ECS). A recent discovery named after the cannabis plant, the activation by cannabis alerted researchers to the system . Thanks to the high level of interaction between the ECS and the entourage of molecules in the hemp and cannabis plants, researchers found the receptors in the brain and later throughout the body. ECS receptors are in the brain, organs, connective tissues, glands, and immune cells. It helps our body's systems maintain the balance we need to stay healthy and modulates the brain, hormonal, and immune tissues. Researchers are investigating connections between the endocannabinoid system and ASD . In a 2019 study, three of the main endocannabinoids found in the human body were found in lower levels in autism patients than in a control group. Symptoms of ECS deficiency or imbalances are conditions often present in subsets of patients diagnosed with ASD. Anxiety, seizures, cognitive challenges, and sleep disturbances are all associated with both ASD and ECS deficiency. CBD for Symptoms and Comorbidities of Autism In addition to the symptoms of ASD, some patients also experience eating disorders, sleeping difficulties, autoimmune diseases, anxiety, or neuroinflammation. CBD displays anxiety-relieving, sleep-aiding, antipsychotic , anti-inflammatory, and neuroprotective properties that can ease these symptoms in several studies. In an animal-model study, CBD improved autistic-like social interaction deficits . In a double-blind study looking at CBD’s effect on the adult brain, researchers compared CBD oil’s effect on ASD patients and a control group. CBD altered two brain regions consistently associated with autism , but only in the ASD patients. Autism and Epilepsy Researchers suspect a link between ASD and epilepsy since people with autism are more likely to have epilepsy, and epilepsy patients are more likely to have autism. About twenty percent of each group have both conditions. The first FDA-approved prescription medication made from CBD, Epidiolex, effectively controls some of the hardest to manage types of epileptic seizures . In the brain, both ASD and epilepsy involve the same synaptic pathways. Like ASD, epilepsy has been found to correlate with imbalances in the body’s endocannabinoid system. Observational Studies NYU and UCSD Medical Schools are currently running studies on CBD as a treatment for children with autism. A 2018 study published in the Journal of Autism and Developmental Disorders involving 60 ASD patients found CBD-rich cannabis to measurably reduce behavioral outbreaks in 61 percent . Thirty-three percent were able to reduce or stop taking their medication. Researchers hypothesize the effects are due to CBD’s anti-anxiety and antipsychotic properties combined with a balancing effect on the endocannabinoid system. A two-year observational study with 188 children with autism used CBD-rich cannabis oil containing 30 percent CBD and 1.5 to three percent THC. After Six Months, Caregivers Reported: Improvement in Restlessness -- 90% Reduction of Rage Attacks -- 89% Less Anxiety -- 88% Less Agitation -- 84% Better Sleep -- 59% A Continuing Investigation with Promise Research into CBD’s benefits, and the potential of its applications for the treatment of autism and neurodevelopmental disorders, are only beginning. Initial research and observational studies show exciting results. The remarkable plant molecules in organic CBD may be useful to improve autistic patients’ and their caregivers’ lives. With relatively few side-effects and multiple potential benefits, research institutions are willing to invest in more in-depth investigations and larger observational studies. As the research continues to accumulate, each individual should consider CBD in the context of their symptoms and other medications. CBD can interact with some medications and should only be combined under the supervision of a qualified physician.

In modern times, roses are a fragrant symbol of love and romance, but this flower's remarkable history and medicinal properties may surprise you. According to fossil evidence, roses have bloomed for 35 million years . There are over 150 wild species, and the first signs of cultivation stretch back 5000 years. From ancient China, the Middle East, Rome, and into modern times roses have been used for confetti at celebrations, in perfumes, and as medicine. The rose hips, or small fruit that remains after the flower has died, are a source of Vitamin C that sustained the British population during food shortages in WWII. Distilled from rose flowers, rose essential oil contains exceptionally high numbers of plant terpenes and other compounds – studies show between 95 and 300 . Bulgarian rose oil benefits include pain relief, mood enhancement , antioxidants, and reduced inflammation . Why Bulgarian Rose Otto? The Bulgarian Valley of the Roses' unique soil structure, air humidity, and precipitation has made it an international center of rose production since the 16 th century. Two majestic mountains, the Balkan and Sredna Gora, embrace the valley and create natural geographic conditions, including sandy soil and mild winters, that allow them to produce the most esteemed rose oil in the world. Distilled from the intricately multi-pedaled Damask Rose, Bulgarian Rose Essential Oil (Rose Otto) has a sweet fresh floral, and warm citrusy scent. Other countries have tried to replicate the conditions in the Valley of the Roses, but none could grow enough of the Bulgarian Damask variety to produce essential oil. A single pound of essential oil requires 10,000 pounds of flowers or 60 roses per drop . A Symbol of Ascent Bulgarian Rose Oil is highly valued for spiritual and medicinal benefits. Folk traditions and religions, including Muslim , Baha'i , and Christianity , see the rose as a symbol of the soul, the Divine Feminine, or union with the Divine. The array of petals unify in the golden center. Rose essential oil has long been used to deepen meditation and is said to have the highest vibration of any essential oil. Energy healers use it to elevate a person's frequency with the consciousness of pure divine love and abundance . Fights Aging, Improves Sleep Potent antioxidants combined with anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties add to Bulgarian rose oil's skincare benefits. Since it's gentle even for sensitive skin, some anti-aging products include rose essential oil to soothe skin and improve the appearance of fine lines. Initial studies into the benefits of Bulgarian Rose Essential Oil indicate it can: Improve sleep Reduce anxiety Relieve symptoms of depression Improve sexual dysfunction Kill bacteria Kill fungus Help balance glucose levels Lower inflammation Nature's Magic, Concentrated At Jampha, the more we learn about plant medicine, the more the benefits of utilizing nature are confirmed. After all, 40 percent of pharmaceuticals are derived from plants people have used for centuries, including the top 20 bestsellers . To enhance the entourage effect of potent plant molecules working together, we formulate our organic full-spectrum CBD extract with researched and targeted plant terpenes. We discovered some of these terpenes are also in the Bulgarian Rose Otto, including nerol, geraniol, and eugenol . Like the hemp plant, which originated on a Tibetan plateau 28 million years ago , the rose is an ancient plant predating humans by millions of years. Both plants have high concentrations of natural plant compounds and a growing list of researched benefits. Our company name, Jampha, is the Tibetan word for 'loving kindness.' The Bulgarian Rose Otto is part of our new Divine Feminine Collection, a way for anyone to invoke balance and connect with the Yin. "Mystery glows in the rose bed, the secret is hidden in the rose." -12 th Century Persian poet and perfumer, Farid ud-din Attar Jampha products integrate advanced plant knowledge as taught by the Medicine Buddha and the Sowa Rigpa Tibetan Spiritual System for Healing mind, body and spirit.

A car is assembled from parts. When your car breaks down, it is often one part that stopped working. If you replace that component, it works again. Our bodies, however, are different. We grow from a single zygote. We are not assembled from parts but develop from a single cell into many systems and organs. One of the remarkable benefits of adding the wisdom of Tibetan Medicine and other ancient holistic practices into our western medical knowledge is that we reunite with the understanding that the body is not separate parts but an intricate and interwoven system. At Jampha, we met an expert in Tibetan medicine, Amchi, who has 40 years of experience in Tibetan Medicine and has travelled the world seeking the highest vibrational plant medicine. He created a special 10:1 formula of apoptogenic herbs for today’s world. It is designed to nurture and detoxify the white blood cells to help people fight off the COVD virus, dispel any lingering effects of the virus, and recover from any unwanted side effects caused by vaccines. Adaptogens: Roots and Herbs for Immune System Support Adaptogens are non-toxic plants known to help the body resist all kinds of chemical and biological stressors . They are herbs and roots that have been used for centuries in Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine. In this article, we explore the ingredients in Amchi’s 10:1 adaptogenic herbal formula. We look at each herb and root to examine the research on how they work. Imbalance and Disharmony in Traditional Chinese Medicine To understand how this formula works, we have to take a quick look at how TCM sees the human body. No system of medicine is superior to the others, but they are most effective when working together. Western medicine looks at symptoms and causes. If you have chronic fatigue, your doctor might ask about your sleep patterns or take some tests. They may send you to a specialist, but in western medicine, the cause of chronic fatigue is unknown . TCM takes a different approach to the same symptom. A practitioner knows that when all organs and systems function optimally, and there is no build-up of toxins in the body, it is in harmony. If someone is experiencing chronic fatigue, a practitioner will look for signs of disharmony or imbalance. The TCM doctor will ask extensive questions about sleep patterns, urine, feces, diet, and other lifestyle factors. They will examine your tongue, eyes, and other visible body parts, and they will listen carefully to the quality of your pulse. Signs of imbalance may show up as too much “dampness,” “heat,” or “wind,” which lead to patterns like “Liver Fire” or “Spleen Qi Deficiency.” The TCM practitioner will aim to restore balance and harmony in the body by addressing the imbalance. Two Steps to Restore and Promote Health After Illness According to TCH, when we are sick, our body uses its vital Qi to fight off the virus or infection. There are two steps to restoring total health after an illness: Replenish the vital Qi Expel lingering toxins In TCM, these lingering toxins are known as “Concealed Evil Qi.” In Tibetan medicine, they are called “Hidden Fevers.” They are low-level infections that threaten the balance of the body because, while they may be dormant, they can become virulent under the right conditions. Fight Fatigue and Balance the Body In TCM terms, Amchi’s 10:1 water-soluble formula is designed to: Strengthen the spleen, lungs, and immune system Stabilize the exterior (our natural defenses between the muscles and the skin) Dispel wind (adverse climates in the body that predisposes someone towards illness) Resolve damp environments where toxins would flourish Dispel toxic heat (toxins) from the organs and blood The adaptogenic ingredients include: Andrographis Astragalus membranaceus root Atractylodes lancea rhizome Atractylodes macrocephala rhizome (stir-fried) Coix lacryma-jobi seed Coptis chinensis rhizome Dryopteris crassirhizoma rhizome Forsythia suspensa fruit Glehnia littoralis root Glycyrrhiza uralensis root Houttuynia cordata herb Platycodon grandiflorum root Pogostemon cablin herb Poria cocos sclerotium Saposhnikovia divaricata root Scutellaria baicalensis root Let’s take a deeper look at each one. Adaptogens in the 10:1 Extract Formula Here are the 16 roots and herbs in the formula designed to fight fatigue, expel toxins, and strengthen the immune system. They are in alphabetical order and not according to the dosage in the extract. 1. Andrographis Andrographis is one of the most popular medicinal plants globally. Traditional healers in Asia, America, and Africa have been using it for centuries. It goes by many names. In England, it is called the King of Bitters. Historically, Andrographis has treated various diseases such as cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure, ulcer, leprosy, bronchitis, skin diseases, flatulence, colic, influenza, dysentery, dyspepsia, and malaria. A review of studies on the herb confirmed that it has the following healing properties : Antimicrobial (kills microorganisms) Anti-inflammatory Antioxidant Antidiabetic (stabilizes blood glucose) Immune modulatory Sex hormone modulatory Liver enzyme modulatory Anti-malaria Anti-angiogenic (stops tumors from growing their own blood vessels) Hepato-renal protective activity (protects against toxicity) Andrographis is can also help fight upper respiratory infections, colds, and the flu . 2. Astragalus Membranaceus Root Astragalus is relatively well-known in the west. One look at its long list of benefits, and it’s easy to see why. Astragalus enhances lung activity, supports the gastrointestinal tract, stimulates wound restoration, and relieves fatigue . It also benefits your heart. It lowers blood pressure by increasing the width of blood vessels . Patients with clinical heart failure who were given astragalus in addition to conventional treatment fared better than patients with only the regular treatment. In China, Astragalus is the most prescribed diabetes treatment. Studies confirm it improves sugar metabolism , reduces blood sugar levels , and even assists with weight loss . Combined with other herbs, astragalus relieves the symptoms of chronic fatigue . It has been shown to kill cancer cells . Recently astragalus has garnered attention for its anti-aging effects. A 2017 study found that astragalus was associated with a significant age-reversal effect in the immune system . The study also noted its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and immunoregulatory effects. 3. Atractylodes Lancea Rhizome In China and Japan, the root of atractylodes lancea is used to relieve weight loss due to cancer, stomachache, fluid retention, bloating, indigestion, diarrhea, loss of appetite, allergies to dust mites, and joint pain (rheumatism) . Recent research has isolated 200 chemical compounds in atractylodes lancea and confirms its traditional use to support digestion. Continued research is investigating atractylodes lancea’s potential for anti-cancer, anti-obesity, and anti-inflammatory treatments . 4. Atractylodes Macrocephala Rhizome (Stir-Fried) Atractylodes macrocephala is used in TCM to eliminate dampness and phlegm. Research has found it to produce both anti-viral and anti-cancer effects. Stir-frying atractylodes macrocephala increases its ability to dry dampness and makes it more effective for relieving stomach distension or diarrhea. 5. Coix Lacryma-Jobi Seed Coix lacryma-jobi seeds are commonly called “Job’s tears” because they are tear-shaped. The seeds come in various colors, including brown, blue/purple, grey, and yellow, and are sometimes used in jewelry. Both the seeds and the root have been used in medicine for over 2000 years. Traditionally a tea or oil made from the seeds is used to fight abdominal and lung cancers and eliminate warts . Modern research has found the seed extract can combat lung cancer cells . 6. Coptis Chinensis Rhizome One of the extracts in coptis chinensis, a flowering plant also called goldthread, is cancer-fighting and neuroprotective . Additional studies found the herb to reduce pain . Research also confirmed its antibacterial, antivirus, antifungal, antidiabetic, and cardioprotective effects . 7. Dryopteris Crassirhizoma Rhizome Studies have found the rhizomes in dryopteris crassirhizoma to exhibit both anti-viral and immunomodulatory activities . An immunomodulatory substance stimulates or suppresses the immune system according to what is needed for balance. It helps the body fight cancer, infection, or other diseases. 8. Forsythia Suspensa Fruit Forsythia suspensa, also known as golden-bell, has small bright yellow blooms. Its fruit is one of the 50 fundamental plants used in TCM. Both the green and ripe fruits have bacteria-fighting and antioxidant properties , while the green fruit has much stronger cancer-fighting abilities . 9. Glehnia Littoralis Root Medical uses of glehnia littoralis have been recorded in China, Japan, and Korea for thousands of years. Traditionally, it’s been used to treat fatigue, weakness, cough, dry throat, and thirst. Pre-clinical studies show the glehnia littoralis root can reduce pain and increase sleep time . A 2019 research review confirmed the root contains the following properties: Immunoregulatory Anti-tumor Anti-inflammatory Liver protective Antioxidant Neuroprotective Antibacterial Antifungal 10. Glycyrrhiza Uralensis Root Glycyrrhiza uralensis is known as Chinese licorice, and it has a naturally sweet flavor. A medical-grade plant is used for treatments. For centuries in TCM, glycyrrhiza uralensis has been prescribed to: Improve spleen function and blood circulation Reduce allergic-inflammatory, gastrointestinal, and liver disorders Reduce coughing Assist the effectiveness of some other medications Few studies have been done on this root. Research has found it fights breast cancer cells in the laboratory. When used as a topical, it may help relieve eczema symptoms . 11. Houttuynia Cordata Herb Houttuynia cordata herb goes by many names, including chameleon plant, fish mint, fish leaf, rainbow plant, heartleaf, fish wort, or Chinese lizard tail. Its green leaves, considered to have a ‘fishy’ flavor, are used as garnish, spice, and medicine. A 2014 pre-clinical study found the chameleon plant to: Reduce bodyweight and abdominal fat Lower insulin resistance and liver lipids Enhance liver function Other research confirms it has a proven anti-inflammatory effect and is useful in combating severe acute respiratory syndrome . A more comprehensive research review found that houttuynia cordata may have all of the following medical applications : Anti-mutagenic (counteracts the effects of cancer-causing mutagens like radioactive substances, x-rays, ultraviolet radiation, and certain chemicals) Anti-cancer Anti-obesity Protective of the liver Anti-viral Antibacterial and antimicrobial (kills microorganisms) Anti-inflammatory Free radical scavenging (antioxidant) Reduces allergies Anti-leukemic (counteracts the effects of leukemia) Fight chronic sinusitis and nasal polyps 12. Platycodon Grandiflorum Root The thick roots of platycodon grandiflorum are used in TCM to expel pus, rid phlegm, and disseminate Lung Qi. Research confirms it has the following properties: Antioxidant and anti-cancer Anti-allergy, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antimicrobial, neuroprotective, insulin-regulating, expectorant, and immune-boosting 13. Pogostemon Cablin Herb Pogostemon cablin is the scientific name for patchouli. It’s used in traditional medicine to treat colds, headaches, fever, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, insect and snake bites. Modern studies have revealed multiple biological activities . Handled through the correct process and at the proper doses, patchouli works as an: Antioxidant Analgesic (pain reliever) Anti-inflammatory Antiplatelet (stops blood from clotting) Antithrombotic (reduces the formation of blood clots) Antidepressant Antimutagenic Antiemetic (reduces nausea and vomiting) Fibrinolytic (help break down blood clots that have formed) 14. Poria Cocos Sclerotium Poria cocos is a fungus that grows on several pine species. The sclerotius is the hard, dark ‘resting body’ of the fungus composed of a mass of long, branching threads. In traditional Chinese and Japanese medicine, Poria cocos is prescribed for its diuretic, sedative, and tonic effects (producing better muscle tone). Modern research has discovered that the sclerotium of poria cocos can enhance immune stimulators while suppressing immune suppressors . This potentiates the immune response. Researchers also noted anti-tumor activity against different kinds of cancer cells. These remarkable fibers also demonstrate the ability to protect DNA from damage . 15. Saposhnikovia Divaricata Root Saposhnikovia divaricata root is a perennial herb of the carrot family. In TCM, it’s commonly known as Fang Feng. Pre-clinical research confirmed a strong capacity to stop tumor growth for several types of human tumor cells, as well as robust antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties . Studies also show saposhnikovia divaricata root can reduce pain and help balance and regulate immune function . 16. Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Scutellaria baicalensis root comes from a plant with small lavender blooms commonly called Chinese skullcap. It is used in TCM to treat hepatitis, reduce infections, and fight cancer. Research confirms it works both as a topical and internal anti-inflammatory , making it suitable for skin conditions as well as general inflammation. Additional studies found it has the following properties: Antioxidant Antithrombic (reducing the formation of blood clots) Neuroprotective Combining Medical Traditions Supports Vibrant Health Japan is an excellent example of how the merging of western and traditional medicine can help people thrive. They very effectively combine advanced western medicine with traditional practices ( many of which came from China ). The average person’s lifespan is four to six years longer than in China or the United States. Each type of medicine has its wisdom and benefits. The two combined are the best of both worlds. Amchi’s 10:1 herbal formula is backed by centuries of tradition as well as modern scientific research. Our summary of the herbs used in this special formula barely scratches the surface of what they are and offer. Even so, you can see the remarkable properties of these carefully chosen plants. Bolstering our immune systems and dispelling harmful toxins is always a good idea. At this time, it is almost a necessity. At Jampha, we incorporate Amchi’s formula into Turquoise Dragon . His plant medicine combined with the systemic balancing effects of CBD and plant terpenes is just what our bodies need. It's also available without CBD .

The human body has five vital organs that are essential for survival. Your brain, heart, kidneys, liver, and lungs work together ceaselessly to process and deliver nutrients and remove toxins. Since they interact so directly with the human endocannabinoid system , the terpenes and cannabinoids in CBD extract can support and heal organs like your liver and kidneys. The Liver: Organ of 500 Functions Anything you eat or consume gets filtered by your liver. Your largest solid organ, it weighs about three pounds and is located in the front near your lower ribs on the right side. With two connected lobes, your liver manages 500 functions and is the only organ that can regenerate. Here are a few of the things your liver does for you every day: Metabolizes carbohydrates, protein, and fat Manages blood sugar levels Processes and stores nutrients Breaks down medications and removes toxic substances Fights infection by eliminating bacteria from the bloodstream Produces essential blood clotting proteins with vitamin K In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the liver manages the smooth flow of vital life force (Qi), emotions , and blood flow. The earlier you catch liver disease, the easier it is to reverse. Signs of liver damage include fluid retention and swelling in the abdomen and legs, yellowish tint on skin or whites of the eyes, or blood in the stool. Cannabinoids and Hemp Terpenes for the Liver Research into these potent plant compounds is at its very beginning, but there are already powerful indications that terpenes and cannabinoids protect, detox, and heal the liver. However, since CBD is ingested, and the liver metabolizes it, people with existing liver damage should consult their doctor before consuming. CBD is a rich source of natural cannabinoids. Since cannabinoids modulate the metabolism of fats and carbohydrates as well as inflammatory processes, they support some of the liver's most important functions . Full-spectrum CBD oil with natural cannabinoids and terpenes improved both brain and liver function in a study done with mice. Hepatitis is an inflammatory disease of the liver and studies show a number of terpenes fight it . Geraniol and α-bisabolol inhibited the growth of HepG2 cells. Lycopene suppressed both Hep-1 and Hep3b cells. The terpene citronellal is showing promise for liver cancer diagnosis and therapy . The Kidneys: Masters of Filtration Kidneys filter blood before passing it back through the heart. They are two bean-shaped organs, one located on each side of your lower back. Kidneys are in charge of processes such as: Maintaining the body's overall fluid balance Manufacturing hormones that help produce red blood cells, support bone health, and control blood pressure Regulating and filtering minerals like sodium, calcium, phosphorus, and potassium from the blood Filtering waste materials to be removed through urine Kidneys support the normal function of nerves, muscles, and other tissues. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the kidneys are the powerhouse of the body. Healthy and balanced kidneys supply energy to any depleted organ . According to that tradition, chronic anxiety drains the kidney. Kidney disease happens when they cannot clean the body the way they should. Signs of damage to your kidneys include insomnia, dry or itchy skin, foamy urine, persistent eye puffiness, and swollen feet and ankles. Cannabinoids and Hemp Terpenes for the Kidneys Both terpenes and cannabinoids activate the endocannabinoid system, an essential partner to the kidneys to monitor and maintain homeostasis. One set of studies found the terpene β-caryophyllene to protect against bladder and kidney dysfunction . The cannabinoids and terpenes in full-spectrum CBD oil also reduce the pain associated with kidney disease , lower inflammation, and protect the organs from oxidative damage . One common kidney complaint is stones or small pebbles in the urethra. They cause pain during urination and can be challenging to clear. A combination of natural terpenes helped patients clear stones more effectively . Anyone with active kidney disease should consult a doctor before adding CBD to their treatment. Plant Compounds Are Real Medicine Mathematicians and physicists still don't have a comprehensive explanation for gravity, but it works for you every day. When you close your eyes at night, gravity keeps you safely in bed. Plant medicine is similar. Science understands parts of it. Fortunately, it works whether we know how or not. Remarkable discoveries continue. For example, Israeli and Canadian research teams found the CBD oil with terpenes could help ease COVID-19 symptoms and block the virus from getting into the body . Full-spectrum CBD oil delivers the concentrated, non-psychoactive, power of helpful plant molecules. At Jampha, each of our seven unique formulas is customized with targeted terpenes and cannabinoids. Each Synergy Enhanced Terpene Infusion by Jampha has been carefully and masterfully infused to offer the highest expression of plant medicine.

Essential oil is a highly concentrated plant component distilled or cold-pressed from leaves, flowers, fruits, and seeds and combined with a carrier oil. A small vial can represent an enormous amount of raw material. For example, it takes about 250 pounds of roses to distill one ounce of rose essential oil. Historically, herbs and plants have been the source of medical breakthroughs. In 15 th to 18 th century Europe, Spanish traders brought potent herbal remedies from South America that finally gave doctors a way to treat smallpox, malaria, and syphilis. Ancient Egyptians left behind a list of over 850 herbal medicines on the Ebers Papyrus, many of which we continue to use today . Some essential oils are applied topically, but many are known for their scents and used by aromatherapy. In aromatherapy, a diffuser evaporates the oil molecules into the air to be inhaled. Significance of Scent Many plant essential oils, like lavender or sage, deliver a potent fragrance. Smells can change our moods, such as the aroma of freshly baked cookies or a breeze off the sea. Unlike sights and sounds, smells take a direct route to the limbic system. They connect to the regions of the brain related to emotion and memory. Smells can subtly influence our behavior. Brands go to great lengths to customize scents in stores and restaurants. For example, Starbucks masks the smell of food inside their cafes because customers prefer the aroma of brewing coffee. Studies on the Benefits of Essential Oils Despite their ancient roots and modern popularity, there are fewer published scientific studies on essential oils than CBD. Here are a few of the results researchers have found. Lavender Essential Oil A controlled clinical trial found that lavender oil served as a mild sedative and promoted deep sleep. Another study focused on patients immediately before surgery indicates that lavender slightly reduced anxiety in that situation. Rosemary Essential Oil The rosemary plant is a hearty evergreen with a potent, woodsy smell. A team of researchers at Northumbria University did two studies. They put one group into a room diffused with rosemary essential oil and put another group in a room with no scent. Both groups completed the same tasks. The researchers found that the rosemary essential oil improved memory and cognition in older adults and resulted in higher test scores for children . Garlic Essential Oil with Herbs Defeats Lyme's Disease At Johns Hopkins, the combination of essential oils from garlic cloves, myrrh trees, thyme leaves, cinnamon bark, allspice berries, and cumin seeds killed "persister" forms of Lyme bacteria that can otherwise plague patients for years and resist traditional antibiotics. Lemon, Orange, and Bergamot Essential Oils The combination of lemon, orange, and bergamot essential oils protect food systems by preventing the bacterial growth that could cause food poisoning , including e-coli. Tee Tree Oil If you haven't yet tried tea tree oil, it's a topical astringent with a robust smell first popularly used in Australia. It's applied directly to the skin. Tea tree oil works as a natural acne treatment . Multiple studies show its activity as an antimicrobial, antibacterial, and anti-fungal treatment . Oregano Oil Oregano oil is another potent herbal remedy. It works as an anti-bacterial and can be taken orally. One study tested oregano oil on 13 bacterial strains, including some that were resistant to antibiotics. Oregano oil effectively killed even antibiotic-resistant bacteria . Peppermint Oil May Reduce IBS Symptoms Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is an increasingly common problem. The research discovered that a patient's nerves become hypersensitive, contributing to the irritation. Peppermint essential oil was shown to bring relief to IBS patients . Pure essential oils are potent, and diluting them in carrier oil is vital when applying directly to the skin. Some people have allergic reactions to essential oils. If you get a red, itchy rash or hives after using them, see a medical professional. CBD is an Essential Oil Full-spectrum CBD is the distilled product of the industrial hemp plant mixed with a carrier oil and, by that definition, an essential oil. However, instead of stimulating the olfactory system or being absorbed through the skin, CBD activates receptors in your endocannabinoid system. A unique neural net that stretches from head to toe, the endocannabinoid system functions to help the body to maintain equilibrium. It regulates several processes, including mood, sleep, appetite, reproduction and fertility, and memory. Find out more about full-spectrum CBD and the health benefits research has so far discovered. Natural Support for Your Wellbeing Essential oils are not a substitute for medical care, but they can supplement wellness and support healing. Even if an oil does nothing than enhance your mood, it can have a positive effect on your health . Funding for research is challenging to find, and few studies have been done. Even so, the results with a variety of essential oils are encouraging. As with CBD, the source and purity of your oils are essential. At Jampha, we create organic, full-spectrum CBD oil with targeted cannabinoids and introduce Synergy Enhanced terpenes to give you maximum benefits from this remarkable plant.

In every area of the ancient world, including Rome, Egypt, China, and India, people discovered plants’ healing properties and used them for medicine. Collectively, our knowledge of plant medicine has amassed over thousands of years. The Medical Benefits of Herbals and Botanicals are Timeless The oldest medicinal records date back to 5000–3000 BCE. Written by Sumerians on clay tablets, these and other ancient records demonstrate that herbals and botanicals have helped maintain and restore good health throughout human history. The Move Towards Full-Spectrum Many ancient cultures taught that plants heal through their vital spirit. It was not just the plant, but the spirit of the plant as well. In the west, scientists look for isolated compounds within plants for specific properties. They have operated more within a machine-based model that breaks plants down into non-living components. Cannabinoids also balance each other out. For example, CBD minimizes the adverse effects of THC. Unlike making repairs on a machine, human wellness is not always reducible to parts. Likewise, the healing effects of plants interact with and add to each other. Common Western Medications Made from Plants A few common plant-derived medications: Morphine Aspirin Codeine OxyContin Penicillin Artemisinin (anti-malaria) Myriocin (antibiotic) Digoxin (heart medication) CBD and Plant Medicine The human endocannabinoid system (ECS) stretches from head to toe. It has specific receptors that interact with cannabis compounds and some other molecules derived from plants. Fruits and vegetables like colorful berries and carrots contain molecules that either interact or block the cannabinoid receptors. In humans, the ECS is an essential homeostatic system. It keeps us in balance and helps manage stress and maintain health. Medical Benefits of CBD and Cannabinoids Since the 2018 Farm Bill Act legalizing the cultivation of CBD hemp and production, the scientific community has discovered more and more of CBD’s health benefits. For patients recovering from heroin addiction, CBD significantly reduced both anxiety and cravings . CBD helps manage seizures for people with a rare and severe form of epilepsy . The Cornucopia of our Natural World Even with its long and rich history, plant medicine is at its nascent. New tools and research approaches, such as metabolic engineering and systems biology, can provide a depth of understanding previously unavailable anytime in history. In the beginning, people’s use of plants for medicine and healing was instinctive. Over recent centuries, we have de-emphasized the importance of the natural world. This resurgence in discoveries about CBD’s remarkable healing properties and other plant compounds brings us full circle. Nature holds undiscovered treasures and can make our lives better in every way. Check out our Botanical Library for more detailed study of the botanicals used in Jampha infusions.

Terpenes and essential oils can seem like the same thing at first glance. After all, they are both derived from plants, are aromatic, and are known for various health benefits. However, these apparent similarities lead to the misconception that terpenes and essential oils are the same things. They are actually quite different. Essential Oils Include Plant Terpenes Essential oils are volatile compounds acquired by distilling or cold pressing plants. They require a large amount of raw material and are usually named after the plant used. For example, rose essential oil is made from roses. They are commonly used to scent a room with a diffuser or diluted and applied to the skin. Essential oils contain plant terpenes, like linalool in lavender or limonene in lemon, but the terpenes are combined with several other compounds. Essential oils can be toxic if misused. They are not safe to consume orally except possibly short-term and under the careful guidance of a trained professional . Terpenes are Used to Flavor Food, Cosmetics, and Cleaning Supplies Terpenes are food-grade organic compounds. They are building blocks of scent and flavor and abundant in fruits, vegetables, herbs, and spices. If you eat a mango or fresh rosemary, for example, you've consumed terpenes. Isolated plant terpenes are widely used as flavor and aroma in the food and cosmetic industries . It requires much less raw material to extract terpenes than to create essential oils. Terpenes do not contain anything aside from… terpenes. The History of Terpenes Plants and essential oils have a long history of being used by doctors around the world. Camphor, ginger, and turmeric are examples of plants used in medicine by different cultures for centuries. Terpenes were first identified by a German chemist named Otto Wallach in the 17 th century. He recognized that terpenes were composed of two or more carbon units. As science evolved, so did the extraction process. Today, over 200 terpenes have been identified. While most plants have terpenes, hemp and cannabis have unusually high concentrations of them. Scientists now understand that many of the benefits we historically experience from plant medicine are due to the action of the plant's terpenes. A Few Common Terpenes and Their Benefits To see research on all the plant terpenes in our Jampha CBD products, visit our Glossary of Terpenes . Here are the benefits of a few of the terpenes we use. Alpha-Bisabolol Studies on a-bisabolol reveal its skincare benefits , including anti-oxidant, anti-aging, and wound healing properties. Limonene works as a natural insecticide and kills viruses and bacteria . After a heart attack, studies show limonene helps protect and repair cardiovascular tissue . For patients with chronic liver disease, it alleviates insulin resistance . Limonene also helps heal the stomach's mucus lining and may act similarly in the lungs. Limonene is included in the following Jampha products: Focus Detox Relieve Breathe Myrcene Myrcene works as a muscle relaxant and sedative with an application to treat sleep disorders like insomnia . It is an effective analgesic that reduces pain and inflammation . In a study on breast cancer, myrcene inhibited cancer's ability to grow and assisted with cell death . Myrcene operates as a neuroprotective , reducing oxidative damage and slowing cell death in the brain. In traditional Brazilian medicine, it's been used for treating diabetes , diarrhea, and hypertension. Myrcene is included in the following Jampha products: Relieve Sleep Calm Terpenes are Essential to Plant Medicine Essential oils contain terpenes, but the two are not the same thing. Terpenes are isolated plant compounds used to flavor foods and add a natural scent to cosmetics and household products. They are in the fruits and vegetables you eat and the spices and herbs you add to your favorite recipes. In recent decades, isolated plant terpenes have gained recognition for a myriad of health benefits. As with CBD, the research into their potential has just begun. At Jampha, we start with organic hemp grown in the United States. Then, we enhance each of our infusions and topicals with specific plant terpenes to make our full-spectrum CBD products more effective.

Sometimes associated with eating a limited diet or using a special drink, elimination and detox are normal physical processes that need to happen all the time. Our bodies take in nutrients and eliminate waste; the more efficiently, the better. The Five Detoxifying Organs A healthy human body uses five organs to eliminate and detox. They are the: Liver Lungs Kidneys Colon Skin The lymphatic system, which is part of the immune system, is also integral to maintaining a healthy internal balance. Minimize the Toxic Burden Medical professionals say the best way to detox is by eating a consistently healthy diet and getting regular exercise. If we don't make excessive demands on our organs with lots of fatty foods, a sedentary lifestyle, and other 'bad' habits, our bodies can manage the elimination process. The reality is that most of us do put a strain on our organs, some more than others. When the organs cannot keep up with our demands on them, toxins build up. Our exposure to environmental toxins exceeds any other time in history, and taking extra measures to support our detoxifying organs' healthy function allows us to balance that exposure . 14 Plant Terpenes to Fight Toxins and Support Your Organs Jampha Detox is a unique formulation to assist the body as it purges unwanted toxins, chemicals, and substances – including heavy drugs. We use a long list of plant terpenes in this formula. Plants use terpenes to keep out unwanted toxins, and they activate our endocannabinoid system, which stretches from head to toe and maintains our body's homeostasis. Terpenes have a vast array of fragrances, flavors, and effects. Here we'll look at the 14 Synergy Enhanced Terpenes in our Detox Infusion Collection . Alpha-Bisabolol Your skin is an essential organ of elimination, and excessive toxins can come out in rashes, acne, or other skin irritations. A-bisabolol is a frequent ingredient in personal care products due to its remarkable skin care benefits . Studies on a-bisabolol have noted its antioxidant, anti-aging, and wound healing properties. A-bisabolol also works to reduce inflammation , kill cancer cell s, and fight infection , supporting your lymphatic system in its detoxifying work for the immune system. Valencene Valencene is widely used for its bright, citrusy scent, but it also helps your body detox and stays healthy. First, valencene reduces inflammation and relieves the symptoms of an allergic reaction . Second, this natural terpene inhibits cancer cells' growth, including for colon cancer in this study . Finally, valencene has healing benefits for your skin , which is one of your five essential detoxifying organs. Alpha & Beta Pinene Alpha and beta-pinene each support your immune system function in multiple ways. They fight infection, reduce inflammation , and can inhibit cancer and leukemia cells . These remarkable, pine-scented terpenes also show potential in the treatment of neurodegenerative conditions like Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases . Specifically, pinene helps balance the oxidant and antioxidant levels in your nervous system. Eucalyptol Perhaps because it's been more thoroughly investigated than many terpenes, the list of eucalyptol's benefits is stunning. Related to detoxification, studies show eucalyptol works as an antioxidant and provides relief from inflammation-causing pain . It has antibacterial and antifungal properties , which help your body resist and eliminate toxins and invaders. Eucalyptol shows promise to treat respiratory diseases and pancreatitis . Additional studies reveal how it can help repair colon damage, support cardiovascular health, and slow down neurodegenerative diseases . D-Limonene D-limonene is another well-studied terpene with a spectacular list of benefits. Related to organ health and detoxification, d-limonene alleviates insulin resistance for patients with chronic liver disease. It is a natural antiviral and antimicrobial , which means it supports your immune system and kills bacterial and viral invaders. In studies on colon cancer, d-limonene effectively fought cancer cells . Specifically, it induced autophagy or signaled the immune system to target and eliminate those cells. Multiple studies also show d-limonene supports the lymphatic system and helps regulate immune function . Our mood influences our well-being, and d-limonene reduces anxiety , depression and works to reduce stress . Delta 3 Carene In addition to cannabis and hemp plants, the delta 3 carene terpene is found in aromatic plants like rosemary, cedar, and pine. It supports your respiratory system and can work as an expectorant to reduce mucus from the lungs . It's also shown to kill gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria and candida species . Candida is a yeast-by product in the digestive system that builds up when the bacterial balance in your stomach and intestines is thrown off by excessive and prolonged use of antibiotics, sugar, or alcohol. Probiotics are the gut bacteria that tend to be easily killed off and need to be replaced, which is why some doctors recommend eating yogurt after taking antibiotics. Beta-Caryophyllene Spicy-scented b-caryophyllene is another powerhouse terpene. Studies show it fights inflammation , including colon , and may be useful to combat inflammatory bowel disease. A medical indicator of chronic or systemic inflammation is called 'the tumor necrosis factor,' and b-caryophyllene reduces that . It also accelerates cell healing . B-caryophyllene not only reduces the symptoms of anxiety and depression but also contributes to changes in behavior. A rare terpene that directly activates the CB2 endocannabinoid receptor, it produces multiple behavioral changes relevant to anxiety and depression . Citral Citral supports your five detoxifying organs by improving metabolic rates and helping to manage blood sugar . Initial studies show potential as an anti-cancer agent. It also works as an anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial to support your body's natural elimination processes. Linalool Linalool is not just a potent anti-inflammatory; it can help the immune system heal and repair after illness or disease. It is also part of the entourage of cancer-fighting terpenes in this Detox Tincture Collection. Linalool also works to reduce anxiety , relieve stress , and ease depression – all that support optimal immune function. Eugenol Eugenol lowers serum cholesterol levels and supports healthy liver activity. Your liver is a major detoxifying organ with over 500 functions inside your body. Eugenol also protects the kidneys and helps them recover after injury. It works as an antibacterial, antifungal , anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant . It supports the immune system to defend against and remove unwanted bacteria, viruses, and free radical molecules. Geraniol Geraniol has a light floral scent similar to roses but brings significant health benefits. Studies show it protects your liver and may assist in its regeneration. It also supports optimal kidney function . It also has anti-tumor properties. Geraniol can work as an antiviral , antifungal , antimicrobial, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory . Terpineol Terpineol also supports the hard-working liver. In liver cancer patients, it inhibits tumor growth and encourages healing. It also helps protect our important digestive system from acid damage. To facilitate detox, terpineol kills bacteria and fights fungus . Alpha-Phellandrene To round out our 14 power-packed terpenes in our Detox Tincture Collection , we have a-phellandrene, which has been used in Chinese medicine for hundreds of years. Studies on a-phellandrene show it boosts immune function and fights against cancer, including against breast and prostate cancer cells . New research shows CBD is a powerful natural treatment for COVID-19. Every cell in your body needs oxygen to live. Your lungs bring in the oxygen that is crucial for survival. However, their function does not stop there. They are also the first line of immune defense. Of all the sites of the body subject to pathogens, the lungs represent a special challenge. Everyone has to breathe to survive, but the air around us carries invisible debris. If an airborne virus or bacteria could shut our lungs down, even temporarily, we would die. Fortunately, lungs are armed with critical defensive abilities. How Our Lungs Defend Us Thin epithelial cells inside your lungs secrete mucus that does two things. It keeps your airways moist and traps unwanted inhaled particles. Small hairs along the inside of the lungs constantly beat upwards to remove unwanted trapped debris. The particles rise to the throat and are either coughed out or swallowed and destroyed in the gut. The removal of this debris is an essential step in protecting the respiratory system from infections . The lung's epithelial linings also contain macrophages, which are specialized white blood cells. As part of your immune system, macrophages can engulf and destroy foreign particles in the lungs. Strong and healthy lungs work with the immune system to defend us from infection and keep our cells oxygenated and happy. Formulated to Support Your Lungs The Breathe Tincture Collection is formulated to target healthy lung function. Here is how each carefully selected terpene benefits your lungs and supports your immune system. Alpha and Beta-Pinene Pinene is the potent monoterpene that supplies pine needles with their fresh scent. Studies show that alpha and beta-pinene reduce antibiotic resistance, fight bacteria, kill fungus, reduce inflammation, and inhibit lung cancer cells . Pinene also increases airflow to the lungs, gives some patients asthma relief, and can reduce allergy symptoms like a runny nose or itchy eyes. Eucalyptol Found in bay leaves, sage, and cannabis, pungent eucalyptol supports a robust immune system by killing bacteria and fungus inside the body. It also powerfully supports your lungs. Seventy-five percent of bronchial asthma patients who were dependent on steroids could reduce steroid use through long-term therapy with eucalyptol . Chronic steroid use can cause side effects, so a plant-based therapy is a desirable alternative. Eucalyptol shows promise to treat multiple respiratory conditions , and its potential is still under study. Limonene With a long and growing list of benefits, limonene is a powerful and well-known terpene that kills viruses and bacteria throughout the body. Studies show limonene can enhance the innate immune response and strengthen the immune system against attack. It also increased the survival of lymphoma-bearing mice. Limonene helps heal the stomach's mucus lining and may act similarly in the lungs. P-Cymene Sweet and citrusy para-cymene supports the immune system as an antioxidant , anti-inflammatory , and antimicrobial . It helps repair cells, reduce inflammation, and kill bacteria. Emphysema reduces lung capacity, permanently damaging crucial lung sacks, and even creates holes in the lower lungs. There is no cure for emphysema, so efforts are focused on slowing the progression of the disease. Studies show p-cymene reduces lung emphysema and inflammation . Citral Citral enhances immune function by killing bacteria . It suppresses the growth of gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria, fungi, and other hazardous microbes. It also fights inflammation . Studies on lung cancer found that citral suppresses small-cell lung cancer cells , both alone and in combination with chemotherapy. Candida is a fungus that commonly overgrows in the intestinal tract due to processed foods, coffee, alcohol, and antibiotics. It can be difficult to kill once established. Left unchecked, candida can travel into the lungs and cause pneumonia. Citral and geraniol both prove effective against candida infection . Geraniol Rose-scented geraniol kills viruses , bacteria , and fungus . It reduces inflammation and supports immune function as an antioxidant . Geraniol not only fights several types of cancer, including lung cancer , it also improves the effectiveness of chemotherapy treatments. Studies also indicate it has potent anti-tumor properties with no damage to surrounding healthy tissue . Camphor Since it's easily absorbed through the skin, aromatic camphor is frequently used in creams and lotions designed to provide topical pain relief and reduce inflammation . Camphor relieves respiratory congestion . It is used as a cough suppressant. When combined with water, camphor forms a protective layer over the upper respiratory lining , which reduces irritation. Pulegone Pulegone is an antioxidant and supports immune function by suppressing allergic and inflammation responses . It also works as an antihistamine to reduce the symptoms of allergic reactions, including nasal congestion, sneezing, or hives. a-Phellandrene Plants containing a-phellandrene, like turmeric leaves, have been used for centuries in Chinese medicine to treat fungal and bacterial infections, reduce phlegm, and increase energy. A-phellandrene is an effective anti-fungal that tears down the integrity of the fungal cell membrane . It also enhances immune function and may protect the lungs from cancer . b-Caryophyllene B-caryophyllene is an effective anti-bacterial and is useful against the airborne bacteria Streptococcal . It fights inflammation and increases the speed of cell healing . Healthy Lungs Support a Healthy Body Lungs are often our first defense against disease. A strong and healthy immune system supports lung function and keeps our cells oxygenated. Jampha Breathe CBD Synergy Enhanced Terpene Infusion (SETI) combines Certified Organic Hemp and a potent entourage of terpenes. The air we breathe is only about 21 percent oxygen . The rest is comprised of gasses like nitrogen and carbon dioxide and airborne debris like dust and pathogens. A strong and healthy lungs and immune system are the best defense we have against an invisible and silent enemy. Jampha products integrate advanced plant knowledge as taught by the Medicine Buddha and the Sowa Rigpa Tibetan Spiritual System for Healing mind, body and spirit. Addressing the complexities of the lungs' imbalances requires insight and experience to create a formula to effectively transform simple and complex disorders affecting the lungs and their peripheral support systems.

Legal in the U. S. since 2018, the potential health benefits of CBD have been the subject of extensive scientific research. In humans, CBD can reduce seizures in patients with rare forms of epilepsy . It is a potent anti-inflammatory , balances anxiety and depression , fights cancer and tumors , and has neuroprotective properties that can benefit the brain . CBD works by activating specific receptors in the endocannabinoid system (ECS). Discovered about 25 years ago, the ECS stretches from head to toe. It is involved in memory, mood, appetite, sleep, metabolism, and immune function. It helps balance these systems and promotes homeostasis throughout the body. Dogs, Cats, and Horses Have Endocannabinoid Systems Too! The ECS is not unique to humans. All animals besides protozoa and insects have this system. The anatomical location of CB1 and CB2 receptors can be different, especially when comparing dogs and humans . However, the ECS performs the same balancing function in mammals and other animals as it does in people. Industrial hemp plants contain as many as 100 natural cannabinoids that balance and activate the endocannabinoid system. Full-spectrum CBD oil for pets includes cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids to promote homeostasis. CBD is one of many plant-based molecules that activate the endocannabinoid system. Other plants that engage the ECS include: Chocolate Black pepper Oregano Cinnamon Basil Clover Lavender Rosemary Echinacea Most of these are ingredients you do NOT want to give to your pet! Luckily, veterinary research shows full-spectrum CBD is safe for pets . As with humans, animals with poor liver health should not take CBD without careful monitoring by their veterinarians. It’s also recommended to combine any treatment plan with a healthy diet . CBD and Pet Pain Management When used with other therapies, high-quality CBD products can improve your pet’s quality of life. Animal’s endocannabinoid system interacts with CBD and other cannabinoids to produce the same anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effects as it does in humans. A clinical trial with dogs found that over a month of use, CBD helped relieve arthritic pain . Pet owners didn’t notice any adverse side effects. Not many studies have been done yet with CBD and horses, but owners have been using it for years, and some companies specifically make CBD products for horses. A new study currently underway at Texas A&M is measuring CBD’s benefits for our equine friends . In case studies, horse owners have used CBD to help manage pain from joint problems or arthritis . Testing positive for CBD can disqualify horses from racing or other competitions, so it is recommended you stop giving your horse CBD at least seven days before a show or race. CBD to Reduce Seizure Frequency Almost six percent of the dog population has epilepsy. Anticonvulsant drugs help but come with unwanted side effects. Promising studies show a distinct reduction in the frequency and intensity of seizures in dogs whose owners added CBD to their existing medication for the 12-week trial. Anti-Nausea Treatment CBD has applications as an anti-nausea treatment. Studies show benefits for patients undergoing chemotherapy to control symptoms of nausea and delayed vomiting. Additional studies duplicated these results in rats , showing that CBD reduces nausea in animals as well. CBD to Fight Inflammation Dogs and horses can experience painful inflammation in their joints, reducing mobility and quality of life. Few pharmaceutical options are available, and the side effects can be harsh, so owners of dogs and horses have been turning to CBD as a natural anti-inflammatory. A 2018 study administered CBD to osteoarthritic dogs and found a measurable decrease in pain and increase in mobility . Dealing with inflammation in horses, especially laminitis, can be tricky, though CBD gives hope to some horse owners . The anti-inflammatory effects of CBD are created by its ability to: Induce cell apoptosis or help damaged cells die and be removed Slowing down cell proliferation in affected body parts Suppression of inflammatory cytokine production CBD to Calm Pet Anxiety While we commonly think of anxiety as a human problem, dogs, cats, and horses can experience anxiety. Because our ECS system regulates mood, sleep, and appetite, CBD reduces the symptoms of anxiety and depression. CBD stimulates the serotonin and adenosine receptors in your pet’s brain, which can benefit happiness levels. We love when our pets are happy! Most research demonstrating CBD’s anxiety-reducing properties is with humans, although some preliminary animal studies indicate positive results. With cats, CBD may be an excellent anxiety-reducing choice after addressing other common sources of anxiety in cats . Case studies with horse trainers show lower doses of CBD may help reduce anxiety in horses . THC is Toxic for Dogs, Cats, and Horses It is essential to avoid giving pets CBD oil with any significant amounts of THC. Do not share CBD oil you purchased from a legal weed store since it may have THC levels that could be dangerous to your pets, and THC is toxic to dogs, cats, and horses . Organic, full-spectrum CBD derived from the industrial hemp plant, like Jampha’s Pet Calm , is safe for your pets. How Much CBD Can You Give Pets? Pets usually consume CBD oil orally, and proper dosage is essential. Start with a low dose and slowly increase if needed. Some effects, like relaxation, are more robust at lower doses. General dosing recommendations are based on your pet’s weight. They range from .05 mg per pound to .25 mg per pound (for more extreme cases like seizures, pain, or arthritis). At Jampha, we’ve simplified that into a suggestion for use, and droppers are marked. General pet dosage recommendations: Five to 25 pounds, use 2.5 to five milligrams (one quarter to one half of a dropper) Twenty-five to 50 pounds, use five to ten milligrams (one half to one full dropper) Fifty to 100 pounds, use ten to 15 milligrams (one full to one and a half droppers) More than 100 pounds, use 15 to 20 milligrams per 100 pounds (one and a half to two full droppers) For horses : Minis: 25 to 50mg Full-sized (1100lbs): 75 to 170mg Large breeds: 120 to 200mg You can give this dose once or twice a day. As with people, CBD may be more effective if you divide the amount into two and administer it twice a day. You can add CBD oil to your pet’s food or put it on a treat, but absorption improves if you put it under their tongue, and they keep it there a moment or two. Not an option with every pet! Dogs have more endocannabinoid receptors than cats or people. With all animals but especially with dogs, start slow with a lower dose and build over time. Include Your Vet It’s worth talking to your vet before adding CBD to your pet’s wellness regime. If your pet is on certain prescription medications, CBD may change how they affect your pet. The liver metabolizes CBD, and just as with people, a pet with liver disease should not be given CBD. If your pet seems excessively thirsty or tired while taking CBD, these may be side effects. Try reducing the dose. CBD Has Wellness Benefits for Your Pet We love our pets. After all, they add a lot to our lives, and in exchange, we do our best to look after them. For many pets, CBD may be a welcome benefit to ease old joints, reduce nausea, aid with pain management, or soothe anxiety. Research into the endocannabinoid system in humans and animals is just beginning. Its receptors are embedded in your cell membranes. According to UCLA Health, endocannabinoids are arguably one of the most widespread and versatile signaling molecules known to man . In the coming decades, we’ll learn more about the benefits of CBD for both people and pets.

Every cell in your body is a complex structure of even smaller units with specific functions, called organelles. In healthy cells, the organelles efficiently work together to create proteins, generate energy, transport molecules, and perform other cell functions. They maintain balance and order in the body. Cancer develops when a process inside the cell malfunctions in one of several possible ways. It's not instant; cancer develops in a multi-step process. Multiple mechanisms must fail before cells become cancerous. Malfunctions, or Mutations, That Can Eventually Lead to Cancer There are a variety of malfunctions or mutations that can create conditions that can lead to cancer, such as faster cell division. In that case, the regulators that control cell division become inactive. Malfunctioning cells resist apoptosis (cell death), so they don't go through the process of cell death that is normal for non-functional cells; allowing mutations to replicate. Whether benign or cancerous, a tumor develops as malfunctioning cells continue to divide without the usual controls telling them to stop. Over time, uncontrolled cell division results in additional cell mutations that can potentially develop into cancer. Cellular Problems Call for Cellular Support Studies indicate that CBD and its entourage of cannabinoids and terpenes can help relieve the pain and inflammation associated with cancerous cells. More significantly, they may arrest unregulated cell division and encourage cancer cells and tumor cells to die. Here is some research on CBD, cannabinoids, and hemp terpenes on how they may help the body to fight cancerous cells and support healthy cell function. CBD and the Minor Cannabinoids Hemp is woven through human history. Like Jampha, which is the Tibetan word for 'loving kindness', hemp spores originated in Tibet. Archeologists traced ancient fossilized hemp spores to their beginning on a Tibetan plateau . With 28 million years to spread, hemp grew wild on several continents before human civilizations emerged. Ancient people from China, India, and Mesopotamia (and elsewhere) cultivated hemp for its strong and fast-growing fibers. Remnants of 8000-year-old hemp clothing were found in Mesopotamia and 6000-year-old threads in China. Recorded uses of cannabis as medicine stretch back to 2700 BC . In modern times, studies on the applications of cannabinoids and CBD for cancer patients caught new interest in 1975 when a group demonstrated both THC and CBD could inhibit the growth of lung adenocarcinoma cells. Since then, CBD and other cannabinoids have been shown to inhibit replication and stimulate the natural cell death process in multiple types of cancerous cells, including lung, glioma, thyroid, lymphoma, skin, pancreas, uterus, breast, and prostate . They also interfere with tumor neovascularization, cancer cell migration, and metastasis . The construction of new blood vessels, or angiogenesis, is a critical way that tumors grow, invade, and metastasize. Research shows CBD can influence tumor angiogenesis. It prevents the creation of new blood vessels, thereby slowing or ceasing tumor growth . The Cannabinoids Jampha's full-spectrum CBD products include cannabinoids like the ones below. Cannabinoid: CBDA An acidic precursor to CBD, CBDA slows down the proliferation of cancer cells. Studies show it inhibits cell migration and encourages cell death in breast cancer. Cannabinoids: CBC and CBG CBC and CBG can penetrate the cell's membrane, making them even more effective at signaling mutated cancer cells to die than CBDA. Cannabinoid: CBN CBN is a mildly psychoactive cannabinoid that can also go through the cell's membrane. In addition to working as an anti-inflammatory, pain reliever, and bone strengthener, it was found to reduce tumor size in one form of lung cancer . Terpenes: Powerful Plant Healers Stroll through a lemon grove, pine forest, or blooming rose garden, and you will inhale plant terpene molecules. They perform essential functions for the plants, like repairing cells or repelling pests, and have distinct aromas. The hemp plant can have up to 200 plant terpenes , which is an exceptionally high number. Here are some of the plant terpenes we include in Jampha's full-spectrum CBD products with published anti-cancer and anti-tumor research. A-Bisabolol Preliminary studies with terpene a-bisabolol show it inhibited tumor growth and induced cell death in pancreatic cancer. A-Phellandrene When tested on leukemia cells, a-phellandrene boosted the immune response and increased B- and T-cell proliferation . In human liver tumor cells, it induced cell necrosis , which means it damaged the cancer cells but did not kill them. Alpha and Beta-Pinene Alpha and beta-pinene work together synergistically to increase cell apoptosis in lung cancer cells . When tested on leukemia cells , researchers found these pine-scented terpenes inhibit proliferation and increase cell death. B-Caryophyllene In two types of colon cancer, b-caryophyllene significantly decreased proliferation . A potent anti-inflammatory it also reduces pain and accelerates cell healing . Cadinene Cadinene inhibits the growth of ovarian cancer by interrupting the cell cycle in mutated cells and encouraging apoptosis. Citral Citral reduced the weight and size of breast cancer tumors without the harsh side-effects of other current treatments. Citronellol Citronellol induced necroptosis in lung cancer cells . Necroptosis is a kind of cell death usually caused by damage or infiltration by pathogens. Eugenol Eugenol fights proliferation and induces apoptosis in several forms of cancer, including melanoma, osteosarcoma, leukemia, gastric, skin tumors, and mast cells . Geraniol Geraniol shows anti-tumor properties on skin, oral, breast, lung, colon, prostate, pancreatic, kidney, and liver cancers. It makes tumor cells more vulnerable to commonly used chemotherapy agents and constrains their ability to acquire adaptive resistance. Humulene Humulene inhibits the proliferation of carcinoma cells . It also helps the body produce chemicals that induce apoptosis and slow tumor growth . Limonene Limonene is toxic to malignant tumor cells and is another powerful plant molecule that induces cell death in cancer cells. Linalool Linalool is proving useful in inducing apoptosis in several types of cancer cells, including leukemia and cervical cancer . Myrcene Myrcene may have applications in fighting breast cancer. It impaired cancer's ability to grow and induced cell death . Nerolidol Nerolidol reduced both benign and malignant tumors of the gallbladder . Phytol Phytol enhances the natural killer cells that fight cancer while also strengthening immunity and reducing inflammation. Terpineol Terpineol fights cancer by suppressing the signaling pathway tumor cells use to grow. Terpinolene Preliminary studies indicate terpinolene may fight proliferation in brain cancer cells . Valencene The citrusy terpene valencene was shown to reduce proliferation in several types of cancer, including ovarian . Plant Terpenes Are Powerful Immune-Support Agents As you can see, plant terpenes are remarkable aids to your immune system. Each Jampha product includes a unique formulation of terpenes . CBD and Cannabinoids have potential cancer-fighting and other health properties. Medical experts recommend only adding CBD to your healing regime under the knowledge and care of a physician, particularly if you are actively healing from cancer or have any liver damage.

As many welcome the roll-out of a COVID-19 vaccine, Bell's palsy and neuropathy have been in the news. Bell's palsy is a rare but usually short-term condition that requires immediate care to minimize recovery time. Neuropathy affects about three million Americans. Depending on its cause, neuropathy can be treated and sometimes cured. Read on to find out how these conditions work, why it happens, and if you can use CBD oil to help your body recover from bell's palsy and neuropathy. When Good Nerves Malfunction Both bell's palsy and neuropathy result from nerve dysfunction or damage. When healthy, the nervous system receives information through the senses, processes it, and triggers reactions. For example, you see a friend and smile or sip boiling tea and feel the burn. Bell's Palsy Bell's palsy occurs when the normal activity of the facial nerve is disrupted on one side. Everything from blinking to tasting on that side of the face will lose function. The severity of the condition varies with symptoms from mild to severe. Medical professionals aren't sure of the exact cause, but the facial nerve in Bell's palsy patients is swollen and inflamed . Most scientists suspect that impaired immunity from stress, sleep deprivation, physical trauma, minor illness, or autoimmune syndromes trigger a dormant viral infection. The infection causes swelling in the facial nerve and restricts the blood and oxygen supply to the nerve cells, resulting in apparent paralysis. Neuropathy Many factors can cause neuropathy, including diabetes, traumatic injuries, infections, medications, hormonal imbalances, kidney or liver disorders, and exposure to toxins. Neuropathy can affect any part of the body but usually shows up in the hands or feet when nerves are damaged or malfunction. A single or several nerve paths may be involved, depending on the case. Symptoms of neuropathy may include : Gradual onset of numbness, prickling, or tingling beginning in the hands or feet Jabbing, sharp, throbbing, or burning pain Muscle weakness Pain during activities that shouldn't cause pain Lack of coordination and falling Extreme sensitivity to touch If motor nerves are affected – paralysis If autonomic nerves are affected – digestive problems or heat intolerance CBD and the Nervous System CBD's efficacy with the nervous system is evident in the FDA-approved epilepsy drug Epilodex. Epilepsy is a disorder of the central nervous system, and CBD reduces seizures in hard-to-control forms of epilepsy with few to no side-effects. As a natural plant molecule, CBD interacts with the integral endocannabinoid system (ECS) found in humans and animals. CBD and plant terpenes naturally activate ECS receptors throughout the brain, body, and nervous system to reduce pain, manage inflammation, fight infections, protect brain cells, and modulate the nervous system. CBD Oil to Cure Bell's Palsy Only about 40,000 people get Bell's palsy each year, and few clinical studies have been done with CBD and Bell's palsy patients. However, multiple studies demonstrate CBD's effectiveness as a: Anti-inflammatory Anti-viral and anti-bacterial Immune system support Mood balancer Each of these benefits addresses either a symptom or likely cause of Bell's palsy. Because of its relationship with the head-to-toe ECS system, CBD can influence the body holistically. Case studies, like this one published by a medical doctor about his patient with Bell's palsy who took CBD , indicate CBD may reduce pain and improve the recovery rate. CBD Oil to Help Manage Some Symptoms of Neuropathy In a clinical study of 29 patients with peripheral neuropathy, topical CBD reduced symptoms including intense or sharp pain and cold or itchy sensations in the CBD group compared to the placebo group, with no adverse events reported. Scientists are interested in CBD for neuropathic pain because it remains effective even with extended use and does not present the existing prescription options' dangerous side effects. A hefty body of research shows CBD to be effective against inflammatory and neuropathic pain . For chronic neuropathic patients, long-term use of prescription pain killers, and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) may irritate chronic diseases or cause unwanted side-effects. CBD offers pain relief more naturally and without the dangerous side-effects of opioids or NSAIDs. A less-known ECS receptor, the GPR55, is thought to extend CBD's benefits in the nervous system . Cannabinoids, like CBD, that attach to the GPR55 receptor have been found to promote overall functionality within neurons throughout the body . They help neurons retain their charge and incite the proper responses when triggered. Systemic Relief for Complex Conditions At Jampha, we fortify each of our organic, full-spectrum CBD products with an entourage of naturally-occurring plant terpenes to enhance and support its function. Terpenes add to CBD's anti-inflammatory, neuroprotectant, and pain-relieving qualities . A primary benefit of using CBD products in treating neuropathic pain is it can reduce reliance on pain medication. In the United States in 2018, 128 people a day died from an opioid overdose . About 30 percent of those were prescribed . A small percentage of people who use CBD do report some side-effects. These include dry mouth, dizziness, nausea, and fatigue. People who already take medication with a grapefruit warning, or patients with liver damage should consult their doctor before and during CBD use.

There are a few things that most people know about Hemp. One is that Hemp has certain medicinal effects which is the primary reason why medical Hemp is legal in a variety of states. Another commonly known fact is that Hemp contains both CBD and the psychoactive component known as THC. Jampha uses hemp for its products offering CBD and its medicinal effects. Industrial Hemp contains many other cannabinoids besides just CBD and no more than 0.3 percent THC. Hemp contains some 200 terpenes and 100 cannabinoids. Additionally, full spectrum cannabinoids contain fatty acids, proteins and vitamins. Plus hundreds of other chemical compounds. Some Hemp Extracts Are Better Than Others: Some hemp extracts are superior to others. If two companies both make CBD oil, that doesn't mean that the CBD oil from each company is equal in either quality or effectiveness. Simply put, not all hemp extracts are created equal. Quite a few variables are relevant when a company manufactures CBD extracts. The company's purification process, the parameters of the extraction method, the extraction method itself, and the genetics of the hemp plants all play a part in determining the quality of CBD extracts. Entourage Effect 101: Simply put, the Entourage Effect describes how multiple compounds, listed above, work together in a synergistic way rather than working alone, which then enhances the effects of cannabinoids. You can think of it like two sports teams; one relies upon one player doing everything while the other has everyone contributing in specific roles. Naturally, you would expect the team with everyone contributing to win. What Does Research Say About the Entourage Effect? The idea of the Entourage Effect first began in 1998. Professors Shimon Ben-Shabat and Raphael Mechoulam discovered that the endocannabinoid system displayed an entourage effect upon noticing that the plant compounds increased our receptors' activity significantly. These receptors are crucial in a variety of body functions, like sleep cycles, communication between cells, memory, and many others. A 2001 paper by Ethan Russo and John McPartland, two well-respected researchers, describes that terpenes enhance cannabinoids' effects. The paper also states that terpenes interacting with cannabinoids makes a notable difference in the effects of those cannabinoids. How Does The Entourage Effect Improve CBD Oil? Simply put, the Entourage Effect improves CBD oil in that it enhances the effects of the cannabinoids found in CBD oil. This is clear when you compare a CBD product that has fewer compounds to one that includes terpenes and cannabinoids. It is even more clear when you compare a CBD product that only includes pure CBD, to a CBD product with a variety of compounds. In any case, the Entourage Effect is a notable example of the benefits of synergistic cooperation between compounds. The pineal gland, a small pine cone-shaped gland located deep within the brain, has long been associated with spiritual sight, intuition, and the ability to access higher states of consciousness. Many ancient cultures called the pineal gland the "third eye" or "seat of the soul." Recent scientific research has begun to explore the pineal gland's role in spiritual development and its connection to various physiological processes. This article delves into the significance of the pineal gland, the process of decalcification, and how specific foods and supplements can aid in this journey toward heightened spiritual sight and advanced spiritual practices. The Pineal Gland and Spiritual Sight A growing body of research suggests that the pineal gland plays a crucial role in spiritual development. For example, a study by Strassman (2001) highlights the pineal gland's potential connection to the production of dimethyltryptamine (DMT), a naturally occurring psychedelic compound believed to facilitate spiritual experiences. Activation of the pineal gland through meditation and visualization techniques can lead to many benefits, such as enhanced intuition, spiritual awakening, and healing. Decalcifying the Pineal Gland One of the main obstacles to unlocking the potential of the pineal gland is calcification. This occurs when calcium deposits build up, hindering the gland's proper functioning. Factors That Contribute to Pineal Gland Calcification Fluoride consumption Found in tap water, toothpaste, and some processed foods, fluoride is a significant contributor to pineal gland calcification (Luke, 2001). It is essential to minimize exposure to fluoride by using fluoride-free dental products and drinking filtered or spring water. Poor diet Processed foods, refined sugars, and artificial additives can contribute to inflammation and calcification in the body, including the pineal gland. Environmental toxins Exposure to heavy metals, pesticides, and other environmental toxins can lead to the calcification of the pineal gland. It is crucial to minimize exposure to these toxins and detoxify the body regularly. Foods for a Healthy Pineal Gland To support the decalcification and overall health of the pineal gland, it's essential to consume a diet rich in nutrient-dense, natural, and unprocessed foods. Some of the best foods for a healthy pineal gland include: Dark leafy greens: High in vitamins and minerals, dark leafy greens like kale, spinach, and collard greens can help detoxify the body and support overall glandular health. Chlorella and spirulina These powerful algae can help detoxify heavy metals from the body and support the decalcification process (Marinho et al., 2013). Berries Rich in antioxidants, berries can help reduce inflammation and protect the pineal gland from oxidative stress. Raw cacao High in antioxidants and magnesium, raw cacao can help support the pineal gland and promote overall brain health. Apple cider vinegar Rich in malic acid, apple cider vinegar can help detoxify heavy metals and support pineal gland decalcification. Meditation Techniques and Spiritual Practices for Pineal Gland Activation The pineal gland's role in spiritual development and intuition has led to the development of various meditation techniques and spiritual practices to activate and harness its power. Here are some exercises you can incorporate into your daily routine to stimulate your pineal gland and enhance your spiritual sight: Breathwork Deep, controlled breathing helps to calm the mind, reduce stress, and increase oxygen flow throughout the body, promoting overall mental clarity and pineal gland activation. Begin by taking slow, deep breaths through your nose, and then exhale gently through your mouth. Focus on your breath and become aware of the sensations it creates. Third Eye Meditation Close your eyes and focus on the area between your eyebrows, where the pineal gland, or "third eye," is located. Imagine vibrant indigo or violet light emanating from this point, and let this visualization grow brighter and more intense with each breath. This practice helps stimulate the pineal gland and enhance your intuition and spiritual sight. Chanting Chanting specific sounds or mantras can create vibrations that resonate with the pineal gland, stimulating its activity. One powerful mantra for pineal gland activation is "AUM" or "OM." Chant this sound while focusing on the area between your eyebrows to stimulate your pineal gland and deepen your meditation practice. Visualization Engage your imagination to visualize scenes or situations that evoke love, gratitude, and joy. These positive emotions can help open the pineal gland and facilitate a deeper connection to your spiritual self. Piezoelectricity and Pineal Gland Crystals The pineal gland contains tiny calcite crystals, which have piezoelectric properties. Piezoelectricity is the ability of certain materials, such as crystals, to generate an electrical charge when subjected to mechanical stress. These piezoelectric properties in the pineal gland's calcite crystals have sparked interest among researchers, as they may play a role in the gland's function and connection to spiritual experiences. A study by Baconnier et al. (2002) revealed that the pineal gland's calcite crystals could exhibit piezoelectric effects. This discovery suggests that the pineal gland may act as a biological transducer, converting mechanical energy (e.g., from sound or vibration) into electrical signal the brain can process. In this way, the piezoelectric properties of the pineal gland's crystals could facilitate the reception and transmission of subtle energetic information, contributing to spiritual experiences and intuition. By engaging in meditation techniques and spiritual practices, such as breathwork, third-eye meditation, chanting, and visualization, individuals can stimulate their pineal gland and potentially harness the piezoelectric properties of its calcite crystals. In doing so, they may enhance their spiritual sight and access higher states of consciousness, opening up a world of profound personal growth and self-discovery. Introduction Shungite, a black, non-crystalline mineraloid, has gained popularity recently due to its purported healing, water purification, and electromagnetic protection properties. This blog post will delve into the history of shungite, its known uses, and potential applications. We will explore the various types of shungite, their unique characteristics, and the potential benefits they may offer. A Brief History of Shungite Shungite is named after the Shunga village in Karelia, Russia, where it was first discovered. This enigmatic mineraloid dates back around 2 billion years and is believed to have formed from the biogenic remains of ancient, microscopic organisms (Buseck et al., 1991). The first documented use of shungite can be traced back to the 18th century, when Peter the Great, the Russian Emperor, used it to purify his soldiers' water (Ivlev et al., 2015). References: Buseck, P. R., Dunin-Borkowski, R. E., Devouard, B., & Fink, U. (1991). Fullerenes from the geological environment. Science, 254(5034), 835-838. Ivlev, A. A., Kiselev, V. M., & Zanin, Y. N. (2015). Shungite – a natural fullerene. European Chemical Bulletin, 4(3), 83-88. The Proven Uses of Shungite Water Purificatio n Shungite has been used centuries to purify water due to its high carbon content, which can adsorb impurities such as bacteria, heavy metals, and organic substances (Tyszczuk-Rotko et al., 2018). Several studies have confirmed its ability to effectively remove contaminants from water, thus making it a viable natural water purifier (Lahermo et al., 1999). Healing Properties The healing properties of shungite have been a subject of much debate and research. Anecdotal evidence suggests it may possess anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and antibacterial properties. However, more scientific research is needed to substantiate these claims. Lahermo, P., Ilmasti, M., & Juntunen, R. (1999). Geochemical Atlas of Finland. Part 3: Environmental Geochemistry, Stream Waters, 1-218. Shungite and EMF Protection The electromagnetic shielding properties of shungite are attributed to its high carbon content, specifically its fullerenes or "buckyballs," which are unique carbon nanostructures (Ivlev et al., 2015). While some studies have shown that shungite can attenuate electromagnetic radiation (Bogdanova et al., 2008), more research is needed to confirm its effectiveness in protecting against EMFs and 5G technology. Russian Journal of Nondestructive Testing, 44(12), 864-871. Types of Shungite There are three main types of shungite, each with different compositions and uses: Type I - Elite or Noble Shungite: This type of shungite contains 90-98% carbon and is considered the most potent and valuable due to its high concentration of fullerenes (Murr et al., 2002). It is primarily used for water purification and making jewelry, as well as for potential healing purposes. Type II - Petrovsky Shungite: Containing 50-70% carbon, Petrovsky shungite is used for decorative and construction purposes (Kiselev et al., 2015). It can also be used for water purification, albeit less effectively than elite shungite. Type III - Regular Shungite: With a carbon content of 30-50%, regular shungite is often used for making sculptures, souvenirs, and trinkets. It is the most common and affordable type but has limited applications in water purification and healing (Kiselev et al., 2015). References: Murr, L. E., Soto, K. F., Garza, K. M., & Guerrero, P. A. Shungite's Unique Composition: The Buckyball Mystery The presence of fullerenes, specifically C60 and C70, in shungite has been a subject of interest and curiosity among scientists (Buseck et al., 1991). Fullerenes, also known as "buckyballs," are carbon molecules arranged in a spherical pattern and were first identified in 1985 (Kroto et al., 1985). The discovery of fullerenes in shungite, a 2-billion-year-old mineraloid, raises questions about their origins and whether they are native to Earth or possibly extraterrestrial. While the debate continues, further research is needed to illuminate this mystery. References: Buseck, P. R., Dunin-Borkowski, R. E., Devouard, B., & Fink, U. (1991). Fullerenes from the geological environment. Science, 254(5034), 835-838. Kroto, H. W., Heath, J. R., O'Brien, S. C., Curl, R. F., & Smalley, R. E. (1985). C60: Buckminsterfullerene. Nature, 318(6042), 162-163. Shungite could play a crucial role in water purification, especially in areas with limited access to clean water. It may be further explored as a natural EMF shielding material. Finally, its potential healing properties warrant further research. Moreover, the unique composition of shungite's fullerenes may have potential applications in nanotechnology, materials science, and energy storage. For instance, fullerenes have been studied for their potential use in superconductors, photovoltaics, and hydrogen storage (Ruoff et al., 1993; Diederich & Thilgen, 1996). As our knowledge of shungite's properties advances, these applications could pave the way for innovative solutions to some of the world's most pressing challenges. References: Ruoff, R. S., Tse, D. Epigenetic's is an emerging field of biology that has revolutionized our understanding of genetics, health, and human potential. This branch of science explores how factors outside the genetic code, such as environmental and lifestyle influences, can affect gene expression and determine our overall health. This blog article will delve into the fascinating world of epigenetics and explore some groundbreaking research that has shaped our understanding of this powerful biological mechanism. Understanding Epigenetics The term "epigenetics" is derived from the Greek prefix "epi-", meaning "above" or "on top of," and "genetics," referring to the study of genes. Epigenetics focuses on modifications that occur "above" the genetic code, affecting how genes are expressed without changing the DNA sequence (Waddington, 2012). These modifications can include DNA methylation, histone modification, and non-coding RNA molecules, all of which can regulate gene expression (Berger et al., 2009). The Role of Environment and Lifestyle in Epigenetic Modifications Our environment and lifestyle choices can have a significant impact on our epigenome. Factors such as diet, stress, exposure to toxins, and even exercise can lead to epigenetic changes that affect gene expression (Feil & Fraga, 2012). This means that our genes are not our destiny – we have some control over our genetic expression and, subsequently, our health, through our lifestyle choices. Groundbreaking Research in Epigenetics The Dutch Hunger Winter Study: This study examined the long-term effects of prenatal exposure to famine during the Dutch Hunger Winter (1944-1945) on the health of offspring. Researchers found that individuals exposed to famine during early gestation had an increased risk of developing obesity, type 2 diabetes, and cardiovascular disease in adulthood due to altered gene expression caused by epigenetic changes (Heijmans et al., 2008). The Agouti Mouse Study: In this study, pregnant mice with a gene called the "agouti viable yellow" (Avy) were fed a diet rich in methyl-donating nutrients, such as folic acid, vitamin B12, and choline. Offspring of these mice displayed a significant shift in coat color and were less prone to obesity and diabetes than offspring from mice not receiving the supplemented diet. The change in coat color resulted from epigenetic modifications to the Avy gene (Waterland & Jirtle, 2003). The Honeybee Study: The queen and worker bees share identical genetics in honeybee colonies. However, the queen has a different appearance, behavior, and lifespan than the workers. This difference is due to epigenetic modifications triggered by the consumption of royal jelly, which leads to the activation of genes responsible for developing queen traits (Kucharski et al., 2008). Implications for Health and Disease Prevention Epigenetics has significant implications for understanding and preventing various diseases, including cancer, cardiovascular disease, and neurological disorders. By identifying specific epigenetic changes associated with these diseases, researchers can develop targeted therapies and personalized medicine approaches to improve patient outcomes (Esteller, 2008). Additionally, understanding the role of lifestyle and environmental factors in epigenetic modifications can inform public health policies and interventions to promote overall health and well-being. Epigenetics has shown us the profound impact our environment, thoughts, and emotions can have on our physical well-being. Jampha Tibetan Healing, a traditional Tibetan medicine system, focuses on holistic healing through natural remedies and energy work to balance the mind, body, and spirit. Combining epigenetics knowledge with Jampha Tibetan Healing practices can create a nurturing healing energy field that promotes overall well-being. This article will provide detailed instructions on integrating these two approaches for optimal healing. Step 1: Understand the Principles of Epigenetics and Jampha Tibetan Healing Before starting this healing journey, it is essential to familiarize yourself with the principles of both epigenetics and Jampha Tibetan Healing. Epigenetics focuses on how external factors, including thoughts, emotions, and lifestyle choices, can influence our genes and affect our health. On the other hand, Jampha Tibetan Healing is an ancient healing tradition that utilizes natural remedies, meditation, and energy work to bring harmony to mind, body, and spirit. Step 2: Cultivate Mindfulness and Emotional Well-being Given the influence of thoughts and emotions on our epigenetic profile, it is crucial to cultivate mindfulness and emotional well-being. Practice daily meditation and deep breathing exercises, or engage in yoga or tai chi to reduce stress and promote relaxation. Maintain a positive mindset and work on fostering healthy relationships, as these can positively impact your epigenetic profile and overall health. Step 3: Incorporate a Healthy Diet Rich in Epigenetic Modifiers A balanced diet can impact your epigenetic profile and promote overall health. Consume foods rich in nutrients known to influence epigenetic modifications, such as: Folate (found in leafy greens, legumes, and citrus fruits) Vitamin B12 (found in animal products, fortified cereals, and nutritional yeast) Omega-3 fatty acids (found in fatty fish, walnuts, and flaxseeds) In Jampha Tibetan Healing, herbal remedies are used to balance the body's energies. Consult a qualified Tibetan medicine practitioner to get personalized recommendations for herbal remedies that can complement your epigenetic healing journey. Kinesiology: A Deep Dive into Muscle Testing Studies and Their Applications Introduction Kinesiology, a field combining movement and muscle testing, has gained increasing attention as a natural and holistic approach to health and wellness. In this article, we will explore the medical efficacy of kinesiology through a summary description of critical studies and provide a step-by-step guide for muscle testing yourself and others. We will also discuss how kinesiology can be used to uncover the body's unique biochemistry, supporting healing and overall health. Exploring the Medical Efficacy of Kinesiology Several studies have assessed the reliability, validity, and potential applications of kinesiology. Below, we summarize three key studies and their findings: Cuthbert, S. C., & Goodheart, G. J. Jr. (2007) This literature review investigates the reliability and validity of manual muscle testing (MMT). It examines over 100 peer-reviewed articles and provides evidence supporting the use of MMT for evaluating muscle strength, detecting neuromuscular dysfunction, and predicting physical performance. The study also highlights the need for more research to establish standardized protocols and enhance the understanding of MMT's clinical applications. Hall, S., Lewith, G., Brien, S., & Little, P. (2008) This review focuses on applied and specialized kinesiology, exploring the evidence for their effectiveness in addressing various health concerns. The authors note that while some studies show promising results, the overall quality of the evidence is low. They call for more high-quality research to better understand the potential benefits and limitations of kinesiology-based therapies. Monti, D. A., Sinnott, J., Marchese, M., Kunkel, E. J., & Greeson, J. M. (2016) This study investigates whether muscle testing can differentiate between congruent and incongruent self-referential statements. The findings suggest that muscle testing can reliably detect such differences, supporting the use of kinesiology in psychological interventions and self-awareness practices. Kinesiology for Healing and Health Kinesiology can help individuals uncover their body's unique biochemistry and identify potential areas that require healing support. By using muscle testing, individuals can make more informed decisions about their health, such as choosing the most suitable supplements, foods, and lifestyle changes. One potential application of kinesiology is identifying the most effective healing protocol for an individual's unique needs. Using Kinesiology to Support Healing: Familiarize yourself with various healing protocols, supplements, or therapies you want to explore. Before muscle testing, hold or place the item or reference related to the healing protocol near the person being tested, either in their hand or within their energy field. Perform muscle testing as described earlier in the article, either for yourself or someone else, while asking a clear, specific question related to the protocol, supplement, or therapy (e.g., "Is this supplement beneficial for my digestive health?"). Evaluate the muscle testing response to determine the suitability of the healing approach. A strong resistance indicates that the protocol may be beneficial, while a weak resistance suggests it may not be the right fit. Repeat this process for other healing protocols or supplements, if necessary, to identify the most effective approach for the individual's unique needs. Keep in mind that muscle testing is a subjective process, and it's crucial to approach it with an open mind and a willingness to listen to the body's signals. It's also essential to consult with a healthcare professional before making any significant changes to your health regimen. Kinesiology and Jampha Tibetan Pharmacy: Finding Your Ideal Healing Protocol Kinesiology can be particularly helpful in identifying the most effective healing protocol from Jampha Tibetan Pharmacy, which offers a variety of traditional Tibetan medicines and herbal supplements designed to address imbalances within the body and support overall health. Using Kinesiology with Jampha Tibetan Pharmacy Products: Familiarize yourself with Jampha Tibetan Pharmacy's product range, which includes herbal formulas, oils, and supplements targeting specific health concerns. Before muscle testing, hold or place the Jampha product near the person being tested, either in their hand or within their energy field. This helps to ensure the body's response is specific to the product in question. Perform muscle testing as described earlier in the article, either for yourself or someone else, while asking a clear, specific question related to the Jampha product (e.g., "Will this Jampha Tibetan herbal formula support my digestive health?"). Evaluate the muscle testing response to determine the suitability of the Jampha product. A strong resistance indicates that the product may be beneficial, while a weak resistance suggests it may not be the right fit. Repeat this process for other Jampha products, if necessary, to identify the most effective healing protocol for the individual's unique needs. Keep in mind that muscle testing is a subjective process, and it's crucial to approach it with an open mind and a willingness to listen to the body's signals. It's also essential to consult with a healthcare professional before making any significant changes to your health regimen. Step-by-Step Guide for Muscle Testing Muscle testing can be performed on oneself or another individual. Follow these steps to effectively muscle test: Self-Muscle Testing: Find a comfortable, quiet space. Stand up straight and relaxed, and feet shoulder-width apart. Extend one arm to the side, parallel to the floor, palm facing down. Place your other hand on your opposite shoulder. Ask a clear, specific question related to your body's needs. Apply gentle pressure to your extended arm using your opposite hand, trying to push the arm down. Note the resistance in your arm – strong resistance indicates a "yes" response and weak resistance suggests a "no" response. Muscle Testing for Someone Else: Have the tested person stand up straight and relaxed, feet shoulder-width apart. Ask the person to extend one arm to the side, parallel to the floor, palm facing down. Place one hand on their extended arm, just above the wrist, and your other hand on their opposite shoulder. Ask a clear, specific question related to their body's needs. Apply gentle pressure to their extended arm, attempting to push the arm down. Note the resistance in their arm – strong resistance indicates a "yes" response and weak resistance suggests a "no" response. In conclusion, kinesiology offers a promising avenue for understanding the body's biochemistry and finding the most effective healing support. By incorporating muscle testing into your wellness journey, you can make more informed decisions about your health, including choosing the most suitable products and protocols from Jampha Tibetan Pharmacy. As we continue to deepen our understanding of kinesiology and its applications, it has the potential to become an even more valuable tool in the pursuit of holistic health and well-being.

Here is an overview of the five main types of brain waves, their functions and benefits, and references to studies exploring their relationship to mindfulness and other benefits. Furthermore, we will discuss how brain waves can heal, balance, and expand minds. Delta waves (0.5-4 Hz) Delta waves are the slowest and highest amplitude brain waves, associated with deep, dreamless sleep and restorative states. They are essential for regeneration, healing, and the release of growth hormones. Functions and benefits: Deep sleep and healing: Delta waves are essential for restorative sleep and the body's natural healing processes. A study by Born et al. (1999) showed that delta sleep is critical for immune system function and overall health. Mindfulness and meditation: Experienced meditators show increased delta wave activity during deep meditation, suggesting a connection between delta waves and mindfulness practice (Aftanas & Golocheikine, 2001). Theta waves (4-8 Hz) Theta waves are associated with deep relaxation, daydreaming, light sleep, creativity, and intuition. Functions and benefits: Creativity and problem-solving: Theta waves are linked to improved creativity and problem-solving skills. Fink et al. (2009) found that theta activity increased during creative tasks. Meditation and mindfulness: Theta waves are commonly observed during deep meditation and mindfulness practices, with experienced meditators showing increased theta activity (Lagopoulos et al., 2009). Alpha waves (8-12 Hz) Alpha waves are associated with relaxed, wakeful states, commonly observed when the eyes are closed and the mind is calm. They are linked to stress reduction, creativity, and the flow state. Functions and benefits: Relaxation and stress reduction: Alpha waves are linked to mental relaxation and reduced stress and anxiety (Dierks et al., 1993). Mindfulness and meditation: Increased alpha wave activity has been observed during mindfulness and meditation practices, suggesting a connection between alpha waves and a relaxed, focused state of mind (Tang et al., 2009). Beta waves (12-30 Hz) Beta waves are dominant during active thinking, problem-solving, and focused mental activity. They are associated with logical thinking, decision-making, and concentration. Functions and benefits: Alertness and focus: Beta waves are linked to increased attention and focus, which are essential for cognitive tasks (Klimesch et al., 1997). Mindfulness and cognitive control: A study by Moore et al. (2012) found that mindfulness training increased beta wave activity during cognitive control tasks, suggesting a connection between beta waves and the ability to regulate attention. Gamma waves (30-100 Hz) Gamma waves are the fastest brain waves associated with higher cognitive functions, perception, learning, and consciousness. Functions and benefits: Cognitive processing and learning: Gamma waves are linked to improved cognitive processing and learning (Herrmann et al., 2010). Meditation and compassion: A study by Lutz et al. (2004) found that experienced meditators practicing compassion meditation showed increased gamma wave activity, suggesting a connection between gamma waves and prosocial emotions. Brain waves play a significant role in understanding the mind-body connection and have the potential to assist advanced healing trajectories and support a healthy balance. The use of brain waves for medical, metaphysical, and emotional well-being is a growing area of interest in both science and alternative healing modalities. Medical potential: Neurofeedback is a non-invasive technique that monitors an individual's brain wave activity and provides real-time feedback. This process helps individuals self-regulate their brain waves, improving their mental health, cognitive performance, and overall well-being (Gruzelier, 2014). Neurofeedback treats various conditions, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, and PTSD (Hammond, 2005). Improved sleep and immune function: Regulating brain waves through meditation and relaxation techniques can help promote better sleep quality, particularly by increasing delta wave activity associated with deep, restorative sleep (Born et al., 1999). Improved sleep is known to affect immune function and overall health positively. Chronic pain management: Brain wave regulation techniques like meditation, mindfulness, and neurofeedback can help individuals manage chronic pain by promoting relaxation and altering pain perception (Zeidan et al., 2012). Metaphysical potential: Enhanced intuition and creativity: By tapping into theta wave activity through deep relaxation and meditation, individuals can access their subconscious mind, potentially enhancing intuition and imagination (Fink et al., 2009). Expanded consciousness and spiritual growth: Gamma wave activity has been associated with elevated consciousness and interconnectedness experienced during meditation (Lutz et al., 2004). Cultivating gamma waves through meditation and mindfulness may support spiritual growth and personal transformation. Emotional potential: Stress reduction and emotional regulation: Alpha wave activity has been linked to mental relaxation and stress reduction (Dierks et al., 1993). Techniques that promote alpha wave activity, such as meditation and mindfulness, can help individuals manage stress and improve emotional regulation. Compassion and empathy: Increased gamma wave activity has been observed in experienced meditators practicing compassion meditation (Lutz et al., 2004). Cultivating gamma waves through meditation may help enhance prosocial emotions like compassion and empathy. In conclusion, understanding and harnessing the potential of brain waves can provide significant benefits for medical, metaphysical, and emotional well-being. Through techniques such as neurofeedback, meditation, and mindfulness, individuals can learn to regulate their brain wave patterns, supporting advanced healing trajectories, promoting restorative progressive healing trajectories, and promoting balance in various aspects of life.

The evolution of the brain can be traced back to the earliest forms of life on earth, where the first organisms had fundamental neural structures. Over millions of years of evolution, these neural structures gradually became more complex, culminating in the development of the human brain. The reptilian brain is the oldest part of the brain and is responsible for essential survival functions such as breathing, heart rate, and temperature regulation. It also controls instinctive behaviors like fight or flight responses and territorial behaviors. This part of the brain is found in all vertebrates, including reptiles, birds, and mammals. The limbic system evolved in mammals to process emotions and create long-term memories. It is responsible for regulating emotions, motivation, and reward processing, and it includes structures such as the amygdala, hippocampus, and hypothalamus. The neocortex is the most recently evolved part of the brain and is responsible for higher cognitive functions such as language, abstract reasoning, and conscious thought. It makes up the outer layer of the brain. It is divided into different regions specializing in other tasks, such as the occipital lobe for vision, the temporal lobe for auditory processing, and the frontal lobe for decision-making and planning. Humans have evolved to use different parts of their brains in different ways. For example, the reptilian brain is responsible for our fight-or-flight responses and regulates our breathing and heart rate. The limbic system is responsible for our emotional responses but also helps us create long-term memories. The neocortex is responsible for our higher cognitive functions but also regulates our emotions and processing of sensory information. Overall, the evolution of the brain has allowed us to adapt to our environment and develop increasingly complex cognitive abilities, enabling us to create language, art, technology, and culture. Transitioning from the lower to the higher brain involves shifting from instinctual, reactive, and emotional responses to a more deliberate, reflective, and thoughtful processing mode. Here are some ways to make this transition and stay in the higher brain: Mindfulness practices: Mindfulness practices, such as meditation, yoga, or deep breathing exercises, can help you become more aware of your thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations and improve your ability to regulate them. Regular mindfulness practice can help you develop the habit of staying present at the moment, reducing impulsiveness, and increasing self-awareness. Emotional regulation: Emotional regulation involves managing and healthily expressing emotions. It requires awareness of your emotional state, the ability to label emotions, and the ability to choose how to respond to them. Some ways to develop emotional regulation skills include practicing mindfulness, journaling, or seeking professional help. Cognitive restructuring: Cognitive restructuring involves challenging negative or distorted thoughts and beliefs and replacing them with more positive and realistic ones. It can help you develop a more flexible and adaptive mindset and reduce stress and anxiety. Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or positive affirmations can help you restructure your thoughts and beliefs. Learning and development: Continuously learning new skills, acquiring knowledge, and developing new hobbies or interests can help you stay engaged and motivated and promote personal growth. Reading books, attending courses, or practicing a new language or instrument can help you develop new neural pathways and improve cognitive function. Social support: Having supportive relationships can help you cope with stress, promote resilience, and increase well-being. Connecting with others with similar interests, values, or goals can help you stay motivated and engaged. Self-care: Taking care of your physical, emotional, and mental health is essential to stay in the higher brain. Eating a healthy diet, regular exercise, getting enough sleep, and reducing stress can help you feel more energized and focused. In summary, transitioning from the lower to the higher brain involves developing self-awareness, emotional regulation, cognitive flexibility, personal growth, and social support. Practicing mindfulness, cognitive restructuring, learning, and self-care can help you make this transition and stay in the higher brain. "enlightened state" refers to heightened consciousness, where an individual experiences deep awareness, clarity, and inner peace. While the concept of enlightenment is subjective and can vary across different spiritual traditions, neuroscience has shed some light on the brain function underlying this state. Studies have found that during meditation or enlightenment, there is increased activity in the prefrontal cortex, the brain area responsible for decision-making, attention, and executive function. This increased activity is associated with enhanced cognitive control, improved working memory, and a more stable emotional state. Additionally, research has shown that during meditation or enlightenment, there is decreased activity in the default mode network (DMN), a network of brain regions active during self-referential thinking and mind-wandering. This decreased activity is associated with reduced self-referential thinking, less rumination, and decreased emotional reactivity. Furthermore, the amygdala, a brain region involved in emotional processing and the stress response, shows reduced activity during meditation or enlightenment. This decreased activity is associated with reduced anxiety, fear, and stress and increased positive emotions such as happiness, joy, and compassion. Finally, some studies have suggested that during the enlightenment, there was increased synchronization between different brain regions, leading to coherence and integration. This increased coherence is associated with improved cognitive function, enhanced creativity, and greater well-being. In summary, during a state of enlightenment, the brain undergoes a series of changes that involve increased activity in the prefrontal cortex, decreased activity in the default mode network and the amygdala, and increased coherence and synchronization between different brain regions. These changes are associated with enhanced cognitive function, emotional regulation, and inner peace and well-being.

The Tibetan Sowa Rigpa healing tradition has many spiritual practices that are generated to charge healing energy into the pill medicines. Tibetan pills are considered medicinal and spiritual food made from combinations of natural ingredients such as herbs, minerals, gems, and precious substances. In their making, they are charged with spiritual blessings generated by many Tibetan Lama’s and are considered spiritual medicines. Two types of Tibetan pill medicines have been formulated and tested over the centuries to treat over 400 common diseases like cold, influenza, gout, DM, hepatitis, high altitude polycythemia, cholestasis, ascites, gastritis, liver diseases, lung and kidney diseases, cholecystitis, arthritis and rheumatism and many more and have between 10 and 30 ingredients. There are also more potent Tibetan pill medicines called Rinchen Rilbu (precious pills) that treat what was then uncommon and more serious diseases such as cancers, diabetes, malignant tumors, neuropathy, seizures, epilepsy, poisoning, strokes, and many others, that in these moderns have now become more common. These precious Rinchen Rilbu medicines contain between 30 and 160 ingredients, including jewels such as purified garnet, turquoise, coral, sapphire, diamonds, rubies, and amber. Mother of pearl, lapis lazuli, conch shell, and precious metals such as gold, silver, copper, and iron. The Rinchen Rilbu have also been regarded as protecting from epidemics. Even a healthy person can take Rinchen Rilbu for protection against all listed diseases. Lama Zopa Rinpoche has said that they are very powerful in blessing the body, the chakras, and of course, the mind. If the pills are kept well, with good samaya, these pills have been known to have self-generating activities meaning they increase in potency and have been known to multiply. The spiritual potency is unmatched by anything western medicine can comprehend. Experience Tibetan Botanical & Mineral Traditional Rinchen Pills

Amchi Thubten Lekshe brings Tibetan Pharmacy to Jampha. A renowned Tibetan medical Physician with 50 years of experience, he trained with Tibet's greatest medical minds, including his Holiness the Dalai Lama. For the first time in the history of plant extract medicine, a complete energetic plant profile is being presented within a formulation. Jampha's Tibetan infusions include the living terpene expressions of live plants, usually lost in the traditional drying process of making pills and powdered medicines. Including terpenes ensures the complete energetic life force plants express through their biochemistry is delivered with a full spectrum profile. The formulator of the unique Tibetan tinctured plant infusions collection, Amchi Thubten Lekshe has advanced the Tibetan Art and Science of Sowa-Rigpa. He is expanding how botanicals are made into plant medicines. His distinctive process ignites the live synergy of plant medicine's healing qualities into an energized living vibratory expression. Amchi Thubten Lekshe's tinctures produce healing results faster than we have ever seen. Jampha's Tibetan Pharmacy Infusions deliver increased bioactivity. They are more bioabsorbable than all other traditional forms of dried powdered plant medicines. These synergy-enhance liquid extract plant infusions contain particular compositions of plants, minerals, resins, and terpenes. This unique entourage, rich in biologically active substances, restores, strengthens, and empowers our body, mind, and spirit. History of Amchi Thubten Lekshe's Concern for Terpenes Back in the 1970s, while making plant medicines at Mens Tsee Khang the way it had been practiced for centuries, Jampha's formulator Amchi Thubten noticed that terpenes were lost when the plants were dried. The traditional dried herb powders and pills, and even liquid tinctures made from dried plants, lacked the vital living essence felt in live plants. Before isolated plant terpenes were readily available, Amchi Thubten Lekshe understood fresh plant energy was more bioactive and nutrient-dense than dried herb powders and pills. Terpenes Have Been Excluded From Traditional Tibetan Medicine for Centuries For centuries around the globe, terpenes were not considered crucial to the plant's expression in traditional medicine formulations. The terpenes were lost during the processing methods--without notice. Amchi Thubten Lekshe recognized the loss of life force energy immediately. He first noticed while formulating medicines in his teens, again in McLeod Ganj, India, at Mens Tsee Khang, and while making medicines with Tibetan Dr. Amala Lobsang Dolma. Amchi Thubten Lekshe recognized that terpenes constitute a significant expression of plants' living, healing spirit. He intuited their function to spark bio-connective activity of the plants' properties within the body's receptors. In concert with Trinn Hatch, Amchi Thubten Lekshe has finally combined live terpenes into these unique and potent formulations. By adding the top notes to the botanicals that were otherwise lost in the drying process, Jampha has taken the energetics of plant medicine to a higher expression. Further background of Amchi Thubten Lekshe Amchi Thubten Lekshe has over 50 years of experience in botanical research, formulation, and clinical application. He has been a well-trained lineage practitioner of the Tibetan Sowa-Rigpa tradition of Tibetan medicine since 1975. Since then, he has been adjusting and enhancing the ancient formulations for modern-day use while maintaining appropriate botanical signatures to keep the traditional formula energetically intact. While in the Himalayas in 1973, Amchi Thubten Lekshe realized Tibet's traditional botanicals were being over-harvested. This concerned him greatly, and he founded The Tanaduk Botanical Research Institute of Tibetan Medicine to study, protect, and preserve botanical areas and the botanicals used in Himalayan medicine. New areas for propagation were established in India, Nepal, and Bhutan, including high-altitude plantations for rare and over-harvested medicinal plants. See Tanaduk.com for more information. Upon meeting Trinn Hatch, founder of Jampha, an organic terpene-enhanced full spectrum CBD company, Amchi Thubten Lekshe, and Trinn Hatch saw a perfect alignment of shared interests. They were both dedicated to botanicals and genuine healing. Amchi Thubten Lekshe brought his Tibetan Pharmacy company to Jampha. Together they are delivering the most energetically alive plant medicines the world has ever seen. Brief Background of Trinn Hatch Trinn Hatch was born into a multigenerational military family, and protection was a natural career choice. Over ten years of service, he provided personal security to Olympians, Royalty, Diplomats, Executives, FDA Scientists, and victims of human trafficking. Trinn's training and instincts prepared him to manage whatever the situation presented until one night in 2012. An assault took him by surprise and overpowered him. In a few brutal moments, his career and health were irreparably damaged. His left leg was so severely broken that the doctors weren't sure they could save it. Trinn spent three months locked in an external fixator as they did surgery after surgery. Pain, PTSD, and Hopelessness Trinn lived in pain and a revolving door of doctors, never finding more than momentary relief and constantly confronted with mixed information. The physical toll was tremendous, but the emotional toll and resulting PTSD became debilitating. Life was anything but balanced as he took more than 17 medications to manage pain, inflammation, and more. PTSD wasn't unknown to Trinn. Growing up with military parents and grandparents and years of protecting veterans and their families had shown him the intense emotional toll war, violence, and trauma take on the psyche. However, seeing it from the outside hadn't prepared him for the experience. Trinn fell into helplessness and despair. He felt like a financial drain on his family, unable to support his mother in her time of need, and it was too much. Trinn hit rock bottom. In that low moment, it seemed easier to spare his family the burden he had become than to keep fighting. A Heartfelt Plea for Help His body seemed broken, and his spirit was losing hope. Desperate, he asked the Universe to show him how to heal himself naturally and entirely in body, mind, and soul. He promised the Universe that if he was shown how he would spend his life helping others to learn. Within two weeks of that moment, Trinn became aware of CBD and hemp terpenes and returned to work at a new medical cannabis dispensary that had just opened its doors. CBD and Terpenes on the Path to Healing CBD, Terpenes, and other remarkable plant molecules gave Trinn a more holistic view of his body and how nature can support it. He began investigating and experimenting with CBD and hemp terpenes for his healing. It wasn't long before Trinn realized the was profound. He began to use what he was learning to support recovery for himself. Slowly and steadily, he weaned himself off the 17 different medications. Over two years, bit by bit, his head cleared from the pain-killer-induced fog, and his body expelled residual toxins. Healthy and with renewed gratitude for this precious human life, Trinn would soon meet Carina and pour their love into the creation of Jampha together. A Higher Vibrational Approach to Business A difference between Jampha and most companies is that Trinn and Carina had powerful, personal healing experiences before starting their business. Trinn's desire to get off traditional medications inspired him to use terpenes and cannabinoids in combinations that weren't available on the market. Carina avoided surgery on her ankle and has watched the products change her family members and loved ones exponentially. Jampha embodies the spirit of delivering healing where it is most needed, an approach that differs from the average company. Loving Kindness is at the core of everything they do. Ten percent or more of gross sales deliver botanical medicine to people facing health issues without the means to pay. Every product you buy provides someone in need with natural remedies for their healing journey. Amchi Thubten Lekshe and Trinn Hatch Realizing CBD and hemp terpenes were a few drops in the oceans of the potential for plant healing, Trinn and his wife and co-founder Carina set a powerful intention and asked the Universe to bring forth a Master of botanical medicine to light Jampha's pathway forward with greater wisdom and knowledge. Within two weeks of and in direct answer to their heartfelt and prayerful request, Amchi Thubten Lekshe made contact. It was soon evident that the Universe had delivered many prayers at once. Trinn and Carina were amazed to discover that Amchi Thubten Lekshe is a renowned Tibetan medical Physician with 50 years of experience. He trained with Tibet's greatest medical minds, including his holiness, the Dalai Lama. Now, he is united with Jampha. Amchi Thubten Lekshe fills many roles in the development of Jampha. He is the Spiritual Director, Lab Director, and Master Formulator. He brings decades of experience with many healing modalities. Jampha's mission is to awaken the master healer within each of us, supporting well-lit paths to the healing of mind, body, and spirit. Amchi Thubten Lekshe brings a wealth of knowledge and wisdom toward this goal. With great love and vision, Amchi Thubten Lekshe brings the insight and wisdom needed to advance Jampha's expression of Loving Kindness, following the example of Maitreya (Tibetan translation-Jampha) Buddha of Loving Kindness.

Tibetan medicine is one of the world's oldest known healing traditions. The first recorded Tibetan medicine conference was in the 8th century. Physicians from China, India, and Persia traveled to Tibet to attend . The premier medical college for Tibetan medicine is the Men-Tsee-Khang (Tibetan Medical and Astrological Institute). It was re-established in India by His Holiness, the 14th Dalai Lama, in 1961. Jampha is blessed to work with one of the very few masters trained at the Men-Tsee-Khang. Amchi Thubten Lekshe has been offering and formulating advanced expressions of traditional Tibetan Medicine since 1977. In the Tibetan language, Tibetan medicine is known as Sowa Rigpa. Amchi Thubten Lekshe has been a Sowa Rigpa tradition lineage holder for more than 50 years. He founded the Tibetan Pharmacy in 1977 to provide accurate traditional information. At Jampha, we share this information so people can learn functional aspects and holistic applications of the Sowa Rigpa tradition. WARNING: Please be aware that several companies are using our information to sell capsules and tonics that do NOT represent Tibetan medicine's true formulation and functions. The Tibetan Pharmacy and Mens Tsee Khang accurately represent the Sowa Rigpa tradition's ancient wisdom. They preserve the lineage and potency of Tibetan botanical medicine formulations. Tibetan Pharmacy brings to Jampha's expression of Loving Kindness the treasuries of wisdom and knowledge attained through unbroken lineages of applied insight into the science of healing mind, body, and spirit in harmony with the Holy Dharma and partnership with the botanical and mineral kingdoms.

Lycium Chinese is known in Tibet as the “Happiness Berry” in the Tibetan culture, the main side effect is reputed to be laughter. In Eastern medicine, the berries are used as a liver, blood, and eye tonic. Goji berries have been researched in connection with cancer prevention as well as use during & after conventional treatments. Our Goji berries are authentic and were identified by the Tanaduk Institute of Botanical Medicine founded by Amchi Thubten Lekshe and in cooperation with the Mongolian Goji Farmers Collective, Amdo organic Goji farms and the Tibetan Medicinal Plant Cultivation Program. They are grown in pristine regions of the Himalayas where no pesticides or herbicides have ever been used. Goji berries are a rich source of vitamin C, having 500 times more vitamin C per ounce than oranges. They are a superb source of vitamin A, not surprising because they are a really deep red color reveal the dense phyto-nutrients they contain. Goji are rich in vitamins B1, B2, B6, and E; delivering high antioxidant activity. They are a rich source of both selenium and germanium and have hence been used in a number of clinical trials involving cancer treatments. When given to patients undergoing chemotherapy, the berries conferred significant protection for the liver. In Oriental medicine, they are said to correct chi deficiency, meaning that people with low energy, insomnia, heart palpitations, and even anxiety are more comfortable after consuming goji berries. Here are just a few ways Goji supports a healthy life💝 * Protects the liver — less fatigue, irritability, also used in treatment of PTSD, HEP C, HPV, HIV * Helps eyesight – supports kidney function, also used for macular degeneration and age related vision loss * Increases metabolic activity — burns fat and aids digestion * Boosts immune function – Lymphocytes, Interleukin 2, Immunoglobulin, vitamins, minerals, amino acids * Improves circulation — supports distribution of nutrients and sustains quality energy levels * Improves sexual function and fertility — boosts libido and energy of creation – healthy sperm and eggs * Promotes longevity — brings life support to the blood and all internal organs * Rich in phytonutrients, antioxidants, particularly carotenoids such as beta-carotene, zeaxanthin and others. * Test studies are showing that Goji berries may prevent the growth of cancer cells, reduce blood glucose, and lower cholesterol levels. * Goji has unique bioactive polysaccharides that are key markers for building immune strength and immune response

Diamond Lignum Vitae ( lig·nuhm vai·tee) What is chi (energy)? If you remember a time when you felt vitality flowing through your body, you know how it feels when your chi (qi) is active and balanced. Perhaps it was when you were freshly in love and overwhelmed by sensual attraction. Perhaps it was a travel adventure, meeting the unknown with exhilaration, or when you were an athlete at the peak of your game. We sometimes associate the healthy flow of chi with being young. Age, injury, and stress can cause blockages in the flow of chi, but these conditions are usually reversible. To understand how Diamond Lignum Vitae delivers its remarkable benefits to both men and women, think of returning vital chi to optimal flow. This article explains the advantages of a natural vitality booster like Diamond Lignum Vitae and outlines its benefits–including and beyond improving sexual function. Infinite Chi Chi is the vital life force that runs through all living beings. Since it is Universal energy, you have infinite access to it. You don’t start with a finite amount and burn it up, it is always available to refill and renew you. However, injury, illness, negativity, or stress can cause the channels of chi that run inside your body to shut down. Blockages correlate to all sorts of health problems. Sexually related side effects of blockages include a lack of sexual interest, sexual addiction, or erectile dysfunction. For centuries, three major tools have helped individuals restore the flow of blocked chi. They are exercise and movement, acupuncture, and specially formulated herbs. Diamond Lignum Vitae is a botanical formula that includes herbs used around the world to restore health and vitality. Here is a depiction of meridians in the human body. How Do You Know if Your Chi Is Blocked? Your symptoms of stagnant or blocked chi will depend on where it is not flowing. Chi can stagnate in any of the organs, including the lungs, heart, and liver. Some common warning signs of blocked or stagnant chi include : Depression Mood swings Inappropriate anger Pain or discomfort in the abdomen Poor digestion Fatigue Bloating Low or no appetite Asthma Weakened immune system Poor circulation Hair Loss Weight problems Mental fog Sexual dysfunction Proven Herbal Remedies to Restore Chi Sometimes we think of pharmaceuticals and herbal remedies as entirely different. Forty percent of available pharmaceuticals, including the best-selling top 20, are derived from herbs that were used for centuries . Whole-plant or less processed formulations sometimes deliver better results than their highly manufactured counterparts because components of the plants interact to deliver more potent benefits. Herbs used in Traditional Chinese (TCM) and Traditional Tibetan Medicine to treat erectile dysfunction have held up under the scrutiny of western scientific research . The Relationship Between Chi and Sexual Function In western terms, your diet, exercise, and health can all impact sexual function. Men and women who do not exercise, smoke, eat unhealthy fats or have a condition like diabetes are more likely to experience sexual dysfunction. All of these activities impact your chi. Improving your health, vitality, and the balance and flow of chi in your body is part of maintaining or restoring healthy sexual function . There are even acupressure techniques you can use at home to stimulate specific points on your meridians to help restore chi flow and sexual vitality. One of the best parts of addressing your health holistically, including lifestyle choices and herbal remedies like Diamond Lignum Vitae, is you improve your overall health by addressing the root cause of your condition. The Downside of Cialis, Levitra, and Viagra Many men use Cialis, Levitra, and Viagra without any adverse effects, but they are not a holistic solution for sexual issues, just a temporary fix. They work by getting more blood to the penis by relaxing muscles and arteries inside of it. Potential side effects vary by which medication a person uses. They include limb pain, vision changes, rash, nausea, dizziness , headaches, or a stuffy or runny nose . An herbal, holistic approach may take some effort over time (or it may work quickly), but the benefits are more comprehensive than a quick pharmaceutical fix. You are addressing the underlying conditions that cause the problem. Why Diamond Lignum Vitae is Good for Both Men and Women Sexual vitality is magnetic. When you feel that sexual charge – whether within yourself as confidence and vitality or between two people as attraction – you feel alive. The advanced formula of Diamond Lignum Vitae combines the potent botanicals of Jampha Tibetan Pharmacy with synergy-enhanced plant terpenes . It is designed to empower and ignite your sexual chi by activating and strengthening several systems of your body. Its benefits include: Strengthening your immune system Improving blood quality and flow Here is a quick look at a few of the ingredients and how they work. Guarana Guarana is a paste made from the seeds of a Brazilian plant. It has an unusual concentration of flavonoids and bioactive compounds, making it the subject of several studies. Researchers have found evidence to support the following health benefits : Removes free radicals (fighting disease and aging) Improves mental focus Fights cancer Increases blood flow Reduces blood clots Horny Goat Weed Horny goat weed is native to Japan, China, Tibet, and Korea. The story behind the name is a goat herder noticed his flock getting aroused after eating the weed. It has been long used in TCM and Tibetan Medicine as a treatment for erectile dysfunction , and pre-clinical trials replicate that application. However, it has additional health benefits. Studies show it may help: Prevent or reduce osteoporosis . Fight cancer and improve the effectiveness of cancer treatments. Fight heart disease by stopping the arteries in the neck from hardening. Muira Puama Muira puama is a flowering plant native to the rainforest. It has been used for centuries by Amazonian tribes to stimulate and support sexual function. An initial study showed that middle-aged men experience improved sexual function with little to no side effects when taking muira puama combined with three other herbs. More research needs to isolate the individual herbs and replicate the effect. A study of postmenopausal women who were complaining of a low sex drive showed statistically significant improvement in: Frequency of sexual desires Sexual intercourse Sexual fantasies Satisfaction with sex life Intensity of sexual desires Excitement of fantasies Ability to reach orgasm Intensity of orgasm Siberian Ginseng Siberian ginseng has been used for centuries in Russia, China, and Tibet. Several studies over the past few years have demonstrated the following benefits : Boosts immune function Helps your body cope with mental or physical stress Improves memory May increase muscle strength and stamina Quercetin Extract Quercetin is a plant pigment and flavonoid found in foods like berries, apples, onions, and red wine. Studies show it has several health benefits, including reducing inflammation and stopping free radicals from being stolen from fat molecules. Quercetin extract also supports blood health in two critical ways. It reduces platelet aggregation, which can help avoid blot clots and improve blood flow. It also helps the capillary walls tighten up to keep in essential nutrients and block out potentially harmful molecules. Clavo Huasca Clavo Huasca is a bioactive bark extract used by Amazonian tribes. Studies show that it scavenges free radicals (acts as an antioxidant) and is a powerful, cancer-fighting anti-inflammatory. These are only six of over seventeen ingredients in Diamond Lignum Vitae. However, you can see that each herb is carefully chosen to deliver targeted health benefits. Don’t Settle for Less Vitality Than You Deserve You cannot stop the march of time, but you can reduce the effects of aging and restore your chi at any age. Diamond Lignum Vitae is a carefully crafted combination of potent botanicals from around the globe to support sexual vitality and overall vibrancy. Our tinctures are made in the US and composed for synergistic benefits. If you are struggling with sexual dysfunction or disinterest, or are unhappy with your overall vitality, give yourself the gift of centuries of wisdom distilled into a single, potent formula.

Spike Proteins: What Are They and Can You Remove Them Naturally? Spike proteins are what some viruses use to fuse with cells and infect them. When someone is infected with COVID-19, the spike proteins around the virus attach to a muscle cell. Once they gain entry, they transfer the virus RNA inside the cell and reproduce until there is enough to release into the body. This function is why researchers targeted the spike protein with the vaccines . The spike protein is essential to the virus's life cycle and appeared to be a way to stop it. However, other research indicates the spike protein might not behave as expected in at least two ways. First, antibodies can transform the spike proteins, so they are more and not less likely to bind to cells. Second, spike proteins alone, without the rest of the virus, may damage the cells that line blood vessels and disrupt the blood-brain barrier. How Are Spike Proteins a Problem ? As more people who had a COVID-19 infection or received the vaccine suffer from long-COVID symptoms , some scientists suspect the spike proteins play a role. Spike proteins have been found in every major body organ, connective tissue, blood, and bone, for as long as six months after infection or vaccine . Early on, medical professionals claimed that only people infected with the virus experienced long-haul symptoms, but new studies confirm that vaccinated people do too. One study shows that spike proteins can cause lung damage even without any virus . Coronavirus spike proteins can be found circulating in the blood . More and more researchers are confirming the virus can harm the heart and other organ systems independent of active infection. The list of long COVID symptoms shows it impacts the heart, lungs, brain, and almost every other part of the body. They include: Fatigue Shortness of breath Challenges with sleep Anxiety or depression Chest tightness or pain Joint or muscle pain Heart palpitations ( inflammation caused by spike proteins can lead to heart muscle injury ) Difficulty with focus or brain fog Changes to smell or taste Persistent cough Hair loss Bowel incontinence Erectile dysfunction Limb swelling Amnesia Hallucinations Motor function or speech difficulties Spike protein presence is difficult to test for, so the full extent of their impact on health is not fully understood. This means if you were infected with COVID or had the vaccine, even if you feel normal, you may have spike proteins compromising different organs or systems of your body. Spike Proteins and Prions Prions are infectious proteins that can take on different shapes. They are not considered a virus because they do not contain genetic material. However, they can cause disease by recruiting normal proteins into abnormal shapes. There are about 70 human RNA-binding proteins that contain a prion-like domain or proteins that shift and change shapes. These prions are associated, in particular, with neurodegenerative diseases. New research has identified prions in the coronavirus spike proteins . This is surprising, because SARS-CoV-2 is the only coronavirus with a prion-like domain in the receptor-binding region of the spike protein. These findings offer more insight into why so many people have long-COVID symptoms and why the vaccine using spike proteins has not been the solution they had hoped. Can Spike Proteins Be Removed Naturally? The best way to eliminate spike proteins left behind by COVID or the vaccine is to support your immune system and cleanse your blood. Your blood circulates through every organ, cell, and system of your body. It delivers oxygen and nutrients to and removes toxins from every cell. Your blood is also integral to fighting off infections and supports other critical immune functions. Holistic Wisdom Supported By Modern Research Tibetan Medicine Sowa Rigpa has accumulated rich experience over centuries of clinical practices. Although western research into Tibetan Medicines over 3000 natural medicines is just beginning, they have already found them to prove particularly beneficial in treating chronic diseases , including: Hepatitis (liver inflammation) High-altitude polycythemia (blood stasis with organ congestion) Gastritis (inflammation of the stomach lining) Stroke Cholecystitis (gallbladder inflammation) Rheumatism (inflammation in joints and muscles) Cancer At Jampha Tibetan Pharmacy we combine the powerful and proven botanical combinations of Traditional Pill Tibetan Medicine (formulated by experts from Tibet) with the revolutionary anti-inflammatory and immune-boosting benefits of Synergy Enhanced Terpenes and other rare and precious botanicals and minerals. Two of these potent botanical remedies are particularly effective for naturally removing spike proteins from the blood to end any lingering effects of COVID or the vaccine. They are Turquoise Dragon and Blue Lotus Peacock. Here is how they work. Turquoise Dragon Turquoise Dragon is formulated to combat viral and bacterial infections, both directly and by supporting and detoxifying the blood system. The botanicals and hemp terpenes in Turquoise Dragon nurture and protect white blood cells, detoxify blood and organs, and dispel the lingering effects of a virus. This formula is a valuable aid in removing unwanted toxins from the bloodstream. This and its immune support make it an excellent tool to naturally recover from the side effects of spike proteins. A healthy body will fight off infection and restore equilibrium on its own. Your body is equipped with remarkable disease-fighting mechanisms. The modern world exposes people to external toxins, stress, and processed foods that compromise the immune system and bloodstream with extra work. An extreme example is how people with existing health struggles were most impacted by COVID . Jampha designs botanical formulas to work with your body, giving it the support it needs to restore optimal, or at least better, function. The traditional biomedical applications of Turquoise Dragon extend to liver and gallbladder disease, arthritis, immune deficiencies, heart disease, and respiratory infections. Blue Lotus Peacock The entourage of botanicals in Blue Lotus Peacock supports your body's natural ability to kill, dissolve, and remove cancerous cells in every organ and system. Cells occasionally malfunction. Your immune system is designed to target, kill, and remove them. However, if an organ or body system is weak or toxic, or if the immune system is compromised, mutated cells may begin to divide and cause cancer . Blue Lotus Peacock nurtures and strengthens your immune function and the health of your organs. It addresses the underlying foundations of health that help your body defend itself. The botanicals in this remarkable formula are known to be the best at fighting infections. It’s a great choice to help naturally detox from spike proteins because it specifically supports your gut, lungs, pancreas, prostate, and brain–all systems shown to be impacted by spike proteins. Crafted With Love in Our Jampha Labs We synergize the Ormus in EtheriOm using the Egyptian Method with Salt from the Dead Sea, and charged spring water from the crystal grid of Mount Ida, Arkansas. We play theta waves during its synthesis to ensure a high-vibrational product. Further enhanced with plant terpenes, our carefully crafted Ormus suspended solution ignites a synergy of chi forces to catalyze highly charged vibrational energy, inspiring clarity, energy, and vitality in every cell and system of your body. Ormus Monatomic Gold, What Is It? Monoatomic elements in a high-spin state In monoatomic gold, the nucleus becomes elongated and spins faster. Research so far suggests they may exhibit superconductivity, superfluidity, Josephson tunneling (passing through an insulating barrier), and magnetic levitation. Ancient knowledge, rediscovered The ancient Egyptians and alchemists considered monoatomic gold to be an anti-aging superfood that increased wisdom. Several of the methods for extracting or making ORMUS have been adapted from ancient alchemical texts. White Gold ORMUS To produce the monoatomic gold in EtheriOm, m-state gold molecules are carefully and consciously extracted from Dead Sea salt, where they are found in the highest concentrations . Unlike inert metallic gold, white powder gold is easily absorbed. Minerals Are Life-Enhancing Every cell in your body needs minerals to maintain its structure and function optimally. We are designed to absorb the minerals we need from the plants and animals we consume who get it from the soil. However, much of the soil used for agriculture today is depleted . This means we don’t always get the nutrients we require from our food, even if we’re eating lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. The right balance of minerals is important to keep our bones, teeth, and muscles strong. They help our nerves and heart stay healthy and strong. They are also essential to growth, energy production, and healing. The right balance of minerals has an alkalizing and balancing effect, helping to protect your body from acids and prevent diseases, including heart disease and cancer. Mineral and vitamin supplements have limited benefits and can even give you too much for optimal physical and mental health. Initial research indicates that the m-state elements in Ormus are naturally present and support life in the ocean and in many biological systems. Not enough research has been conducted to make categorical health claims, but free-floating and easily assimilated in their smallest state, m-state elements allow clearer cell-to-cell communication and support cell energy transfer. What Is in EtheriOm? EtheriOm is created with highly charged vibrational energy, inspiring clarity, energy, and vitality in every cell and system of your body. Monoatomic Gold M-state or Ormus gold is the foundation of our EtheriOm formula for its high vibrational energy and unique elemental health benefits. Colloidal Gold Gold nanoparticles suspended in a solution are traditionally used to enhance emotional stability, increase concentration, and improve nerve impulse transmission. Dead Sea Salt Dead Sea salt is a potent source of m-state gold. It also contains essential minerals like magnesium, calcium, bromide, potassium, and iodine. Mount Ida Mineral Water Mount Ida in Arkansas is one of the world’s most abundant sources of natural quartz crystal. Our mineral water is chi-charged by the quartz crystal grids of Mount Ida. Plant Terpenes All of our Jampha formulas include potent and targeted plant terpenes. Research shows these natural molecules help restore health and balance, physically and mentally. EtheriOm Benefits Some reported benefits include: Energy level increases Sleep and wake cycles balanced and improved Waking up early feeling alert Improved mental focus and clarity Access and maintain creative flow Controlling food cravings Other possible benefits include: Improved immune systems DNA structure repairs and improvements Heightened psychic abilities Better hormone production Improved red blood cell production Slowing or reversing the aging process Keeping mineral levels up in the body Strengthening the aura Connecting with higher consciousness This may seem like a long list of benefits, but they all boil down to optimizing cell metabolism, detoxification, conductivity, and nutrient transport. Gold’s unique thermal and electrical properties are said to improve the functioning of human cells and nervous and circulatory systems. Loving Kindness With Jampha A natural healing approach includes loving kindness to our minds and bodies. At Jampha, we combine thousands of years of Tibetan medicine knowledge with modern science to deliver the best nature has to offer. EtheriOm - Monatomic Gold Charged Healing Life Force Infusion

Are you familiar with the antioxidant and vitamin-rich goji berry? Over the past 20 years, they’ve become a popular superfood found at most grocery stores and smoothie shops. Even Costco carries bags of the dried berry. There are actually two types of Lycium berries being marketed. One is the Tibetan goji berry, and the other is the Chinese wolfberry being sold with the same name, "goji”. The name Goji was never even heard of in China before 1995. Chinese Lycium wolfberry growers and manufacturers got wind of the Tibetan name 'goji berry' and liked the name. As they have taken over Tibet and rewritten its history, they have also usurped the name goji. Around 1996 they started using that name to take over the goji market and increase their wolfberry distribution as goji. Goji Berry or Wolfberry? Both are Lycium berries and offer nutritional benefits, including antioxidants and vitamins. However, the Tibetan goji berry has special neutral and sweet energetic properties, making it a potent and useful ingredient in Tibetan healing formulas for centuries. The wolfberry shares some of the same healing benefits, but its energetic nature is hot and acrid rather than neutral and sweet. Goji berries grow in nutrient-rich soil in the same harsh climates where they’ve been cultivated for centuries: Tibet, Nepal, Mongolia, and areas of what is now China that used to be Tibet, like Amdo. Commercial Chinese wolfberries have been grown on commercial farms using DMT and over 35 different chemical pesticides for over over 70 years. About 12 years ago they started a green project that was their equivalent of organic status. Many Chinese commercial goji and other agricultural farms that have been using chemicals in their soils for over 70 years have now adopted the new green plan and are now labeled organic. Exclusive Access to Pure Goji Berries, Handpicked in Tibet The Tibetan goji berry is native and organically grown on farms in the same wild areas they have been growing for centuries. About fifty years ago, the Tanaduk Research Institute of Tibetan Medicine initiated plant cultivation programs. They taught farmers how to wildcraft, using wild plant starts to cultivate semi-wild organic goji berries, free of pesticides and chemicals, on farmlands in the same area. Jampha’s goji berries come directly from these wild and naturally organic lands of Amdo, Tibet. When you purchase goji berries through us , you support Tibetan farmers. You also access one of the world’s top superfoods for health and vitality. Jampha is able to provide U.S. buyers with these rare goji berries shipped directly from Tibet because of our collaborations with these organic goji farms . Nutritional Composition of Tibetan Goji Berries Goji berries have held the title of superfood for centuries but have only recently become popular in the west. They are nutrient-packed, exceeding the nutrition of almost any other fruit. Here is a quick look at someof the nutritional benefits of goji berries. Vitamin C Goji berries are an abundant source of vitamin C. While the exact amount in the berries can vary, they often have more vitamin C by weight than oranges. It is absolutely critical to have Vitamin C in your diet because our bodies cannot produce it. Vitamin C is necessary for wound healing, collagen production, iron absorption, and healthy bones and teeth . It is also a powerful antioxidant that helps fight cancer . Carotenoids, Including Beta Carotene Carotenoids are a primary source of dietary Vitamin A and the reason that goji berries are so abundant in this essential nutrient. Three tablespoons of Jampha’s goji berries supply 140% of the RDA for vitamin A. Carotenoids protect and help defend cells and tissues. They help fight cancer and heart disease and support eye health . Antioxidants Sometimes called “the red diamond” for its anti-aging properties, goji berries are abundant in natural antioxidants . Antioxidants remove free radicals from your body that can otherwise contribute to cancer, heart disease, or other ailments. Natural antioxidants, like those found in goji berries, are more effective than synthetic antioxidants. Natural antioxidants are more stable and more likely to deliver the desired health benefits . Vitamins B1, B2, B6 Goji berries are a rich source of B vitamins, including B1, B2, and B6 . B vitamins support brain and cellular function. They help enzymes do their jobs, including breaking down carbohydrates and transporting them throughout the body. Polysaccharides Polysaccharides are long chains of carbohydrate molecules that are beneficial to digestion . Unlike monosaccharides that break down quickly and can cause glycemic spikes, polysaccharides are fibrous. They feed the microbiome and support cell health. Amino Acids & Fatty Acids Goji berries are a source of both essential amino acids and fatty acids . Amino acids keep your immune system strong, help build strong muscles, and aid digestion . Fatty acids keep your hair and skin healthy. They help regulate hormones, blood pressure, and inflammatory responses . Minerals Goji berries are a tasty source of several important minerals , including: Magnesium - essential to keeping your blood pressure low and heart healthy and strong. Calcium- necessary to build and maintain strong bones , may also support heart health. Potassium- helps regulate the heartbeat and supports muscles and nerve function . Copper- helps regulate blood pressure, keep your immune system healthy, helps nerve cells communicate, keeps your bones strong and joints healthy . Iron- supports healthy hormone production and the delivery of oxygen to the muscles and throughout your body . Manganese- helps regulate blood sugar and calcium absorptions, supports healthy connective tissue and bones, helps regulate sex hormones, supports brain and nerve function . Zinc- has a significant impact on immune health, including helping to heal damaged tissue and healthy cell growth . Health Benefits of Tibetan Goji Berries The modern world has taken many of us away from the remarkable healing properties that nature has to offer. At the same time, ancient healing techniques using available materials like goji berries were developed by trial and error. Today, we can verify the rich, abundant healing properties offered by the natural world through the insights of modern science. Here are a few of the health benefits of the goji berry. Prevent Cell Oxidation and Slow Signs of Aging Too many free radicals in your body, whether from smoke, environmental toxins, diet, or stress, damage your cells. Cell oxidation refers to the damage caused by free radicals to cells, proteins, and DNA. They are a significant component of aging. Lycium berries have been used in Asia for centuries to slow the signs of aging and promote longevity, and modern research is discovering how that works. Initial studies show that goji berry extracts protected cells from radiation-induced DNA damage even at very low doses . Protect the Brain and Fights Alzheimer's Traditional healers have included goji berries in tinctures designed to protect the brain cells and nerves from neurodegeneration. Modern science is backing this up with initial, pre-clinical studies demonstrating that goji berries improve cognitive function and protect against Alzheimer's . Fight Cancer In a study on human liver cells, goji berry extract was effective at fighting cancer . Additional studies showed the same results against skin cancer and breast cancer cells . In a preclinical study using mice, researchers found that goji berries may inhibit cancer growth and strengthen the effectiveness of cancer treatments . Strengthen the Immune System With so many minerals and vitamins, it makes sense that goji berries would strengthen the immune system and help it function better. A preclinical study in Korea found that goji berries helped improve immune system function and also aided in fatigue recovery and stamina . Protect the Liver Your liver works day and night to break down and create nutrients and balance the contents of your blood, so the right vitamins, minerals, and enzymes reach each part of your body. Research shows that goji berries reduce liver toxicity and oxidative stress and reduce the DNA damage these conditions would otherwise cause. Support Healthy Eyesight Modern life with hours of screen time and artificial light puts extra strain on the eyes. A study showed that goji berries had a beneficial impact on eye health and may prevent or delay age-related macular degeneration , while participants who took lutein and zeaxanthin supplements instead of goji berries saw little to no benefit. Another study indicates goji berries may protect the retina from the ganglion cells responsible for glaucoma. Aids Digestion Researchers are discovering more and more connections between digestion and mental health . It turns out that goji berries may benefit both. In a double-blind study that gave participants either goji berry juice or a placebo for 14 days, researchers found that people who drank the goji berry juice reported an increase in general well-being, improved neurologic performance, and better digestion . Goji Berry Skin Benefits In addition to their antioxidant and anti-aging benefits, goji berries protect your skin against UV radiation. Many of the components found in goji berries, from vitamin C to essential fatty acids, are good for your skin. Vitamin C supports the production of collagen. Fatty acids strengthen the skin barrier and help reduce inflammation. The antioxidants in goji berries help fight skin reactions, reduce signs of aging, and eliminate toxins from the skin. In a preclinical study, researchers found that goji berry juice reduced the inflammation from sunburn and counteracted the immune suppression that sunburn would typically cause. Goji berry liquid and powders are finding their way into more and more skin products. Get Your Goji Berries Direct From the Source If you are looking for a delicious, potent health supplement, it’s hard to beat the chewy texture and sweet taste of goji berries. Three tablespoons a day packs many of the vitamins, minerals, and nutrients your body needs to find and maintain optimal health. While many countries have started growing goji berries to capitalize on their superfood status, when you purchase goji berries from Jampha , you tap into a time-honored tradition. Our hand-picked and hand-dried organic goji berries are shipped directly from Tibet, where they have been carefully cultivated and used as food and medicine for thousands of years.

Shilajit offers a wide range of healing properties for both men and women. It is a truly unique substance used by Eastern and Ayurvedic medicine for thousands of years. Sanskrit texts refer to Shilajit as the “conqueror of mountains and destroyer of weakness.” In its original form, Shilajit, also known as mineral pitch, is a sticky tar-like substance found in high mountains. Shilajit is created by a natural aging process that appears to break down certain plants. It is principally found in the Himalayas between India and Nepal, although it is also found in Afghanistan, Chile, Russia and Tibet. Over the ages it has been said that Shilajit also enhances the efficacy of any formula taken. Commonly found minerals found in Shilajit include copper, fulvic and humic acid, iodine, iron, manganese, magnesium, nickel, potassium, silicon, silver, sodium, sulfur and zinc. Although largely unknown to the public, Shilajit has been studied by various health related organizations: Research indicates that, when used correctly, shilajit can help address a wide range of health issues including: Brain Function such as Alzheimer's disease and cognitive disorders. Aging due to fulvic acid found in shilajit. It has been traditionally used for longevity and slowing the aging process, and acts as an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agent. Antiviral abilities to fight off various viruses, including herpes. Chronic fatigue by improving cell function. Liver cancer by stopping cancer cells from multiplying. Heart health by reducing damage to the heart if taken before a heart attack. Male fertility by increasing sperm count and testosterone levels . Another article suggests that, in addition to the above, shilajit can help address a variety of health issues in women . These include: Fertility by helping to regulate the menstrual cycle, increase the flow of oxygen and nutrients to the reproductive organs, and help clean and detoxify reproductive organs as well. Bone Health by boosting calcium in the bones, as well as boosting enzymes and hormones responsible for bone formation. So prized was shilajit in ancient times that no major disease was believed to be curable without it. Despite the very ancient history of use of shilajit, very little is really understood about its exact origin. According to geologists, the Himalayas were formed by the drifting of an island near Australia and the collision of the island with the Asian landmass. Sea shells can be found at very high elevations and the mineral content of shilajit is consistent with what is found in mollusks. Yet, shilajit is more than minerals. The resinous texture may be due to the presence of mosses and other plant material that maya have contributed to the formation of shilajit. The Ayurvedic forms of shilajit are not consumed raw. Rather, they are purified using traditional processes spelled out in ancient texts. Skillfully crafted pure Himalayan Shilajit with powerhouse adaptogens that are enhanced with life-supporting terpenes combine to create the highest vibratory expression of this ancient longevity formula. This natural substance offers the potential for powerful healing! ROSE GOLD DIAMOND SHILAJIT

As the post-pandemic world reopens and many places discard masks and social distancing, not everyone is returning to life as usual. Strange symptoms like brain fog, dizziness, shortness of breath, persistent fatigue, or digestive issues are troubling a growing number of people. Jampha is privileged to be working with a team of top Tibetan Medical Experts with over 300 years in combined experience in Tibetan Formulation and use of Plant and Mineral Medicines. This article outlines what long COVID is and how Jampha's team designed Tibetan Botanical Tinctured Infusions to address the evolving symptomology of the COVID virus, it's variants and the debilitating effects of COVID vaccines. One in five people who were infected with COVID-19 suffer long-term varying symptoms of what doctors are calling long COVID or post-COVID. This is true whether they had a severe or mild case or whether they were vaccinated or unvaccinated. In this blog we explore: What is Long COVID-19? What Are Some of the Symptoms of Long COVID-19? Vaccines Don’t Prevent Long COVID Long COVID is a Systemic or Whole Body Problem Your Body Can Rebalance With the Right Help Jampha’s SETI Infusions Help Nourish and Detox What is Long COVID-19? Long COVID-19 describes a range of persistent and troublesome symptoms experienced by some people after they were infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus. These are symptoms that they did not experience before contracting COVID. Doctors and researchers call these long-term effects post-COVID conditions (PCC), long COVID, or long-haul COVID. Long COVID affects about one in five adults who contract the virus . This number applies whether someone contracted COVID after being vaccinated or had no vaccine. While some assume that only individuals with a severe SARS-CoV-2 infection might experience lasting post-COVID symptoms, research shows that even vaccinated people with a mild case can have long-haul COVID . What Are Some of the Symptoms of Long COVID-19? COVID-19 has a “ variable infection gradient .” Generally, it first infects the nasal cavity by replicating specific cell types. From there, it can infect and replicate – though progressively less well – in cells lower down the respiratory tract, where it may cause more serious diseases. For this reason, different people’s symptoms of post-COVD or long-haul COVID can be very different. The CDC includes all of the following in its list of long-COVID symptoms : Persistent fatigue or tiredness Fever Trouble breathing or shortness of breath Cough Chest pain Heart palpitations (a fast beating or pounding heart) Brain fog (trouble thinking or focusing) Headache Difficulty sleeping Lightheadedness, especially on standing up Pins-and-needles feelings in an area of the body Disruption in smell or taste Diarrhea Stomach pain Joint or muscle pain Rash Menstrual cycles changes However, this list doesn’t include everything doctors see as part of long COVID. Some patients are experiencing strange symptoms that are hard to manage and cannot be explained by tests. Sometimes these symptoms may be similar to chronic fatigue or autoimmune conditions. As doctors struggle to identify and remediate long COVID symptoms, sufferers are losing patience. Researchers are starting to expand their investigations but have made little headway into the complex condition. Daniel Griffin is an infectious disease specialist at Columbia University who has been bringing attention to the lack of adequate treatments and understanding of post-COVID. He advocates for expanding clinical trials to include any treatment that many patients . Some Cases of Long COVID May Be Caused By Reservoirs of the Virus in the Body Recent studies by Harvard Medical School and Stanford University found evidence that pockets of the virus may continue to live in parts of the body long after the COVD infection . This finding can explain the symptoms for some cases of long COVID since the spike protein doesn’t live long enough to cause ongoing symptoms. A reservoir of the virus may settle in the body. There are other viruses’ that continue to live in pockets of the body post-infection. These findings increase researcher's interest in antivirals . If you or someone you love are dealing with strange symptoms that seemed to have developed about four weeks after COVID, your body may be crying out for help to detox and rebalance after the infection. Vaccines Don’t Prevent Long COVID Vaccinated people with post-COVID symptoms may not associate their ongoing health problems with the coronavirus because they heard the vaccines protect them from long-haul COVID. However, research shows that vaccinated people only have about a 15% less chance of experiencing long-COVID symptoms . Long COVID seems to be most common in people with severe infections. However, even people with mild COVID cases or no symptoms during infection can struggle with ongoing symptoms for weeks or months after exposure. There also doesn’t seem to be a clear correlation between common risk factors like obesity and diabetes and long-COVID. Even if you are vaccinated and were infected with COVID without apparent symptoms, you can have post-COVID health issues. Long COVID is a Systemic or Whole Body Problem Long COVID is a systemic problem. The SARS-CoV-2 virus, with its spike proteins, can enter cells in different organs and systems of the body. This is why many people are experiencing mysterious and hard-to-treat symptoms. If you cut your finger, that is a very localized problem with a localized solution. It is sufficient to clean and disinfect the cut and allow it to heal. However, if a virus has damaged or created a toxic environment in several organ systems, there is no localized solution that can help. Under many circumstances and with the right support, your organs and internal systems can heal and restore themselves to a healthy, functional balance. For many people with long COVID, the body may eventually recover on its own. However, if you could get something that would help restore balance faster, would you want it? Your Body Can Rebalance With the Right Help When your body is struggling with stress, the effects of a virus, or other imbalances, there are two types of support you can offer: Detoxification and Nourishment. Detoxification Supports Health Detoxification is a critical body process . Every minute of every day, your body is removing the toxic byproducts of normal cellular metabolism as well as any environmental or dietary toxins that may have found their way inside. It is such an essential process that we have five organs dedicated to detox (liver, colon, kidneys, lungs, and the skin). Nourish Your Cells With Essential Nutrients Nutrients, like those found in many plants, are essential to life. They give our bodies what they need to function as designed . Many of today’s processed food options lack crucial nutrients , and when our bodies are compromised after illness or through prolonged stress, they can require boosts of nutrients to help restore healthy levels. Jampha’s SETI Infusions Nourish and Detox Jampha’s founder first discovered organic CBD after a life-changing injury and had him on 16 different pharmaceuticals, including for pain relief and to reduce inflammation. Using organic CBD infused with potent plant molecules called terpenes, he and his doctor were able to wean him off of all of the pharmaceuticals. Jampha is the Tibetan word for loving kindness, and it was in this spirit that he launched the company. He wanted to share these remarkable remedies with others. In the process, he met an experienced Amchi of Tibetan medicine and his team of practitioners of the Tibetan Sowa Rigpa tradition, who brought another level of plant medicine into Jampha’s products. The Tibetan Infusions come from the Tibetan Sowa Rigpa tradition of Tibetan Medicine, which is based on holistic principles and derived from more than 2500 years of applied and practiced insight. LONG COVID EFFECTS 1 in 5 adults. Symptoms can persist months and be debilitating, very little is known on how best to address these emerging complications from both virus and the vaccines. The SARS-CoV-2 virus has caused the coronavirus disease 2019 commonly known as Covid-19. There is still much that we don’t understand about the virus and its effects, particularly long term effects. We as yet do not know the origin. While the world’s attention can shift to other crises, those who contracted the virus and/or took the vaccines (one or more) must now face their own health concerns and find solutions and healing. Jampha wants to help. It can help and will help those who are open to alternative solutions. The world has suffered multiple pandemics in the last 500 years and before. The Covid-19 outbreak has been modern history’s most significant pandemic since the Spanish Flu pandemic in 1918 in which a third of the population was infected and over 50 million people died worldwide . Thus far, approximately 7.5% of the world population have been infected and over 6 million people have died from COVID 19 . It is very possible that future pandemics will occur as well so what can be done now to address the current health effects of the pandemic and prepare for future outbreaks of one type or another? Jampha believes that a healthy body is fundamental to a full life. A life of healing, happiness, service and love in its full expression requires good health. Buddha said, “To keep the body in good health is a duty…otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear”. Roman poet Virgil said, “The greatest wealth is health”. Jampha’s purpose for being is to help those who wish to help themselves recover from poor health and sustain an abundant and fulfilling life. We make and offer our products with deep “loving kindness”. We begin with our blood. Our physical life force. Blood takes what we ingest, what we inject, what we breathe and what we absorb and then distributes it, for better or for worse, throughout our body. Clean blood is essential to good health. This is why our first offering of Tibetan Herbs was Turquoise Dragon. Its purpose is to help clean the blood of bacteria, parasites, and viruses, among other harmful substances. Good food brings in vitamins and minerals. Healthy blood is the baseline. For example, a common illness called shingles is very painful. Shingles is caused by a virus that is carried in the blood and then creates a skin rash. Treating the rash itself is helpful but it is only treating the symptom. To clear our body of the virus requires cleaning and clearing the blood. Healthy blood feeds the brain, keeps the heart functioning properly and promotes full function throughout our body. The Covid-19 virus uses the same internal highways system to carry out its negative purposes. Therefore we commonly recommend Turquoise Dragon as the first step to recovering and promoting good health. Our Golden Eagle formula of carefully selected terpenes and Tibetan Herbs is specifically designed to promote lung health and full respiratory function. We know that Covid-19 is a respiratory virus so Golden Eagle becomes an essential component to fight the effects of the virus. Generally, the medical community continues to endorse the vaccine to combat Covid-19. By far and away, the vaccine is traditional medicine’s answer to Covid-19. Outspoken members of the medical community pushing back against the narratives of the vaccine include Dr. Robert Malone, Dr. David E. Martin and Dr. Peter McCullough in the United States, and others internationally such as Dr. Mikolaj Raszek. They have expressed concern regarding a multitude of side effects, some of which will be described below. Treating the coronavirus started with one vaccine with the promise of a cure. Then it was determined by the CDC that a second vaccine was needed. Two boosters have since been added. Now a vaccine exists for children and infants. Science tells us that multiple vaccines to treat essentially the same virus can actually reduce our natural immunity, in part because the virus mutates to survive. Delta and Omicron are examples of coronavirus variants. A case in point is a Covid-19 outbreak on a cruise ship that carried a fully vaccinated crew and passengers. Those receiving the vaccines/boosters frequently report one or more side effects shortly after the injection. These side effects have been mild to severe. We do not know with certainty exactly what makes up the differing vaccines manufactured by various pharmaceutical firms so we are hamstrung in our ability to trace side effects to specific formula contents. We are also seeing that the vaccine over time, is either causing or contributing to longer term effects. Additionally, long term effects of COVID-19 itself are now being reported . Another study indicates that 55% of COVID patients presented at least one symptom 2 years later. Numerous additional side effects are being reported such as cognitive impairments (e.g. brain fog, memory loss, breakdown in the blood/brain barrier) , a reactivated chicken pox virus that leads to shingles and herpes zoster, and heart inflammation cases (e.g.myocarditis), among others. Consider these additional articles from various media sources: -- https://www.theepochtimes.com/reactivation-of-chickenpox-virus-following-covid-19-injections-on-the-rise_4549574.html?utm_source=News&utm_campaign=breaking-2022-06-23-3&utm_medium=email&est=PyVScahFEeqKH0a4qXx%2F17ky3ONa3Gr0SSpD8Qy2cmJgJuMTaf6Y%2Bt S9kzTE%2B4IPd80%3D -- https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/epdf/10.1111/jdv.18184 -- https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMoa2203965query=featured_home -- https://www.theepochtimes.com/fda-flags-heart-inflammation-risk-over-covid-19-vaccine_4510371.html?utm_source=CCPVirusNewsletter&utm_campaign=2022-06-05&utm_medium=email -- https://www.theepochtimes.com/coronavirus-causes-cognitive-impairment-experts-found-mediation-might-be-the-cure_4549973.html While the debate continues regarding the efficacy of the vaccines, Covid-19, and related unknowns, what is not debatable is that: 1. Blood carries oxygen and nutrition in our body as well as many viruses, bacteria, toxins and harmful minerals. Clean blood creates better health! 2. COVID-19’s effects will likely stay with us, in one form or another, for years. 3. The vaccines are “experimental” as officially designated by the FDA. That designation provides exemption from product liability claims against the pharmaceutical company and other parties as well. We simply do not know the long term effects of the vaccines . 4. Long term clinical trials were not conducted before the mass production of the vaccine occurred given the urgency generated by the CDC, WHO, governments and others. Unavailable information also includes relevant in house clinical findings as well as the discussions with the FDA regarding the vaccine’s efficacy and effects. Protecting intellectual property is a major justification for the lack of transparency by pharmaceutical companies. All of the above is sobering and raises important questions for each of us. Considerations: 1. As Sovereign Beings, are we responsible for our own research as well as protecting and promoting our health? 2. Is there something we can do now to help reduce harmful effects related to Covid-19 and/or the vaccines? We at Jampha respond with an emphatic “Yes!” to both questions. Long Covid Recovery Testimonial We strongly recommend our: ● Turquoise Dragon formula designed to help clean impurities in the blood, naturally and powerfully, including bacteria, parasites and viruses. ● Golden Eagle to help clear the lungs and respiratory system. ● White Elephant formula which helps to address a myriad of neurological maladies, many of which can be blood related. ● White Tiger for those experiencing nerve damage and pain. ● Detox and Relieve infusions to help clear toxins from our system and the pain they can create. ● Topicals including Balance and Relieve can be applied directly on rashes and other skin related issues, including shingles and other forms of inflammation. ● Breathe and Golden Eagle formulas will help address respiratory problems, including COVID-19. Tibetan Buddhist Sowa Rigpa is the name of the Tibetan Buddhist spiritual practices that include lifestyle awareness, meditation, holistic use of foods and plants for health and wellbeing. Sowa is translated as “nourishment” and Rigpa as “awareness”, giving “nourishment of awareness” seeking the real causes of all suffering and dis-ease, both physical and mental and to relieve that suffering Sowa is “healing” and Rigpa as “science”, resulting in a Buddhist spiritual practice of the “science of healing” and is inclusive of plants as healing food to regulate and support our physical and spiritual body. For those who are not aware of this ancient stone, Shungite is found in only two locations on earth. More importantly, scientists have discovered that Shungite helps protect against pollutants, free radicals, harmful germs, and electromagnetic fields (EMF) like 5G and radiation. It has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory properties and therefore carries healing benefits against dis-ease. Water infused with Shungite can also help relieve such health issues as kidney and lung dis-ease, arthritis, chronic fatigue and more. Let’s take a moment to discuss EMF’s a bit further. EMF’s are created by cell phone towers, laptops, smartphones, appliances and any other electronic device. It is important to note that relatively little research on the effects on humans, including long term, actually exists. Some studies indicate that the risk of cancer increases with any exposure to radiation; the higher the exposure the higher the risk. Traditional organizations such as the WHO state that they do not see health related downsides that could warrant stopping or delaying 5G deployment. However, most studies do not test the actual effect of pulse waves which is what 5G technology uses. Negative ions can neutralize the effect of EMF’s and the positive ions it creates. Waterfalls, grass, beach/pounding surf, thunderstorms, springs, forests, house plants, wind and the earth (best with bare feet) are natural sources of negative ions. Tourmaline and amethyst are excellent sources as well. And the benefits of negative ions beyond neutralizing EMF’s? How about clearing airborne allergens such as mold and pollen, improving cell metabolism and purifying blood as a start!? In a recent blog, we discussed Shungite and some of its benefits to help protect us . We have deep respect for the power of this hydrocarbon rock! In our new bead bracelet , we have combined the power of Shungite with high quality stone beads representing each of our chakras. For further alignment, we have the chakra stones in the order of our own chakras, with Shungite beads spaced to encompass and protect the chakra stones. The stones are: Red Jasper : endurance, grounding, fertility, driving away evil spirits Carnelian : empowerment, creativity, courage, warmth, physical cleansing and strengthening Citrine : joy, energy, prosperity, calmness, healing the physical, mental and emotional areas Rose Quartz : unconditional love, compassion for self and others Amazonite : encouragement, hope, strengthens the nervous system, and confidence Lapis Lazuli : “wisdom stone”, self-expression, and truth Labradorite : faith, trust, heals inner wounds, protects from evil and negativity Rutilated Quartz : aligns all chakras with our higher chakra’s “earth star” or “merkaba chakra” Finding balance in such a chaotic world requires each of us to consciously seek ways and natural materials that help us be grounded. These beads will help us find inner tranquility while others are driven by fear and other negative emotions. Jampha encourages each reader to do their own research into the harmful effects of free radicals, EMF’s such as 5G and radiation, as well as why these particular stones were chosen. We believe that you will agree that these beads are a must for wearing everyday; both day and night! And they are a great gift! If you are familiar with the world of CBD, you may have heard about the entourage effect. This is the term used to describe the synergy that takes place when all of the active compounds in the cannabis plant come together to create a powerful effect. Of course, if you want to take advantage of everything that cannabis has to offer, you need to be familiar with the entourage effect. That way, you can use it to your benefit. Even though this has become a buzzword, dozens of cannabinoids and countless terpenes are responsible for not only the entourage effects but also your entire experience. Cannabinoids and Terpenes: Cannabinoids are substances that bind to the cannabinoid receptors throughout the body. Terpenes are responsible for not only the scent of the plant but also your experience. Countless cannabinoids and terpenes come together to produce the entourage effect. Even though many people are focused on the differences between THC and CBD, there are countless other compounds that are responsible for your experience. Of course, you should always read the ingredient list on your CBD products, but you also need to understand how compounds other than THC and CBD are responsible for the entourage effect. An Overview of the Entourage Effect: THC, CBD, and countless other cannabinoids and terpenes must work together for you to take full advantage of the entourage effect. This is one of the most powerful forms of energy in the cannabis world. The synergy created by these compounds can minimize the psychoactive effects of cannabis (which are responsible for getting you high) and the medicinal benefits of this plant. Even though you can separate these compounds and take them individually, they will not be as effective as they would be if you take them together. Essentially, the power of all of these cannabinoids and terpenes is greater than the power of the sum of its individual parts. That is because these compounds are far more powerful when they work together. THC Does More Than Get You High: So, why is this the case? Why do these compounds work better together than they do if you separate them? It is true that THC can get you high; however, it has different effects at different doses. For example, THC can treat anxiety in small doses; however, in larger doses, it can actually lead to significant levels of anxiety. On the other hand, studies have shown that THC can also be an effective painkiller. So, how is it possible to take THC for pain without causing any psychoactive effects? That is where the effects of CBD can be helpful. The synergy between CBD and THC can help you treat chronic pain without exposing you to psychoactive effects. Numerous Other Examples of the Entourage Effect: Because there are numerous other cannabinoids and terpenes, it is important to keep up with research on all of these compounds to truly appreciate the synergy created by the entourage effect.
